****IMPORTANT*****: PM times to SOULCRUSHER, my new screen name. Better yet just post them in the thread and I will eventually add them to the list.

This is a list of owners 1/4 mile time. PM me the times and mph, and I will edit the list for quick reference. Anyone from the forum can be added to the list. Just tell me what motor you are running. I will list fastest to slowest. Please include a few of your MAJOR mods and what tranny. Also, include if your car is a Fastback(FB) or Notchback(NB)or Rebody(RB).

It would be nice to compile a list of 1/4 times complete with engine/car setup.

I think Troy Richie of Red Deer pulled an 11.2 on his nos'd 383 GT.. Tim or another one of the Albertan Fiero group members might be able to clarify for us! I also heard he had to dog it to keep in the 11's so that he wouldnt need a roll cage to run at race city? Truth to that rumour?

Definatly one of the faster ones.. 700HP otta push ya down the 1/4 pretty quick

My car/engine/tranny combo is 86GT/98 3800 Series II SC/4T65E-HD

I think it would be cool if this site had a 1/4 times section like the one on clubgp.com http://www.clubgp.com/cgi-asp/qtrmile.asp

If this site was using coldfusion, I'd write a DB driven page to do it here. I could put it on my home server, but I don't know if Cliff would link to it?

WOW, thanks for all the responses. Keep em coming. If you get a new better time please let me know. I never thought I would get so many responses. Curious no one with the SBC have sent me a time yet. I know their out there. I don't want to post an incorrect time, so i need them to tell me for sure what it is. ALSO, please give me a MPH.
I never knew there were so many 12 sec. cars on this forum!

While mine was not a real serious attempt, it's pulled a 12.2 @ 118 mph without slicks.

I feel the pressure, so does my engine. Last weekend it went 11.76 with a chug, a backfire on the 2-3 shift, and a hit on the rev limiter. That was at 119.3 mph. I think it went lean on the big end, as I felt the pull really diminish after half track. I found out later that my fuel pressure regulator is messed up. I still plan on going 10's before the season is out.

Actually that is me, I think Troy Richie ran a 11.6X but I don't remember. He doesn't come on the message board anyway. I think his time is in the video from link on the forum.

Thanks ls3mach, now I have to bow down to the big dogs... I really feel it's a sub 15 second car since I installed the underdrive pulley. I may get a few runs in before the snow flys...

I still plan on going 10's before the season is out.

Hey man, be sure to tell all the KAFC people, we gotta see your record breaking run!

Calikid have you considered a stealth ram? They are supposed to flow alot better than any TPI or LT1 setup.

I ran a 17.28@79 mph in my 86' 2.8-liter 4-speed.

The run was with 2 people, timing off, and 2700 feet above sea level...

My car felt funny but hey I raced it the second week I bought it so it could of been my driving skills.

That 17 second time for a 4 speed is indicative of some significant problem.

I'd check the Cat. It is likely plugged.

I'd get that timing done.

You should be around 16 with no mods. If not, you need some more work, like distributor, coil, etc. etc.

Many 4 speeds are low 15's with natural aspiration. Your time is more an automatic time.

Nice list. I would keep it forum specific. That way we could contact them for advice on their setups. Maybe add another one for out of forum. I know people who has already done 10s in a SBC Fiero.
