Nice job !! If you had told me you painted the rear wing black on an orange car I would have thought ' tacky '. But seeing it looks pretty cool. I like about everything on it except the remains of side moldings on the front fenders.

Question, was the trunk not latched in all those photos or is it not lined up flush with body for some other reason?
I like the two tone on the interior, is that leather or vinyl wrapped over the fiberglass? Anything you could do to line up where the black/white meet at the console? Didn't notice it until you mentioned minor points and started staring for something that could be deducted.
What is the orange done with on the interior? Is that the same as the exterior paint or something else?
I love the black wing on the orange car, but then again I've been a classic mustang fan for decades. Glad you didn't put Mach 1 emblems on it ;-)
Excellent job, tons of tasteful mods right at the edge of going over the top.

The compartments were all open just set down for judging, and yes Exoticse we did not get best of show, but what am I gonna do cry ? I am happy with the 1st in Custom, but best in show would have definatly made me happier. I actually did not see the car that did so I hope to get chance sometime. I'm pretty new to the fiero competions so maybe nex year I'll fix the things that were deducted and win.!?

Scott-Wa The interior is the same color as the exterior, the Lamborghini Arancio Borealis, Lamborhini Pearl Orange. Its a great color because in the light its a couple shades and depending on the angle of the light source its orange, gold, yellow, the pearl really plays with your eyes.

The roof looks like its paited, but i fact its the Kingdom Kustoms Carbon Fiber headliner. I love carbon fiber and the aww factor it gets. In the future look for some interesting trim and other parts made from the material. You never know what people are gonna pull out of theur sleeves. Thans for the comments and I just want everyone to know that the build topic will cover everything so ask away.!!

I see it has no plates, but that's a good thing. You guys can NOT drive that car on the street... for the good of the Fiero hobby, we can't allow the risk of a wreck. Awesome job!
Been there, saw that, wish there was a t-shirt! That was one beautiful car! I was disappointed that only one chop-top showed up. Archie had two great cars there too!

i took some pics of that car today as well. pics don't do it justice. it's much nicer looking in person. i didn't meet one single person from here while i was there! what's with that? nobody was by their cars at all! i wanted to meet some of the faces behind these cars. i'll start a thread and post the pics i took today. it was a good turnout for fieros, but only one choptop?!? wish i could have met ya there exoticse. next year!
Shawn sorry we misconnected !
I was around for sure. i was hanging out with Miss-tress and her husband 007, Jscott1, and a bunch of guys from Central Florida Fieros.
I spent a lot of time drooling all over this car too hehehehe. Next time just look for the most customized cars and that is where you will probably find me.
Not sure i even know what you look like was also a problem. Maybe we all need to wear those little stick on badges with our PFF names next time hehehe.

I was at the Daytona show with several friends. We were not judges at the show, but are totally baffled by the judging!! The Fiero highlighted here DID NOT win BEST IN SHOW - W H A T ???????????????? Just my opinion, but the judges must have been on - well, whatever drug or drugs you choose. Just the opinion of oh, two dozen people, excluding the car owner.
The car is nice but to tell you the truth I didnt even go look at it. There were other cars that I wanted to see more. I didnt even get to see all of the cars there. It looks like it has a lot of work in it but so did the car that took home best of show.
Bring it back next year and try again.

Thanks for your positive comments. I am not one to cry about the judging outcome, Of course I would have liked to take Best of Show this year, but the way I look at it the people have spoken and whether I got that award or not i know what people think and that good enough. I am happy for the other owner and he can have the trophy. I had lots of fun and there is no point in complaining over the award, some did not even get 1 award, so why should I cry over not getting 2? Thanks to everyone involved that made Dayona possible, and maybe next year everyone will get surprised again with another creation that will be good ebough for Best of Show...
Thanks again Alex
