The above link will serve as the official information page for the 25th. It has very basic information at this time, but as things get planned and we move forward, we will update it to keep the community informed.
Maybe it's too early for this kind of a question, but I'm curious. The web page says the event starts on the 24th... what do you expect to happen that first day that we should try to arrive that early for?

It is too early, but I will say we are looking into having events Thursday - Sunday.

You know, we've got 18 months to prepare for this (all of 2007 and half of 2008). I estimated my cost for gas, food and lodging, then added some more for registration, merchandise and extras, then divided by how many paychecks I get in 18 months. Starting after Christmas, I need to set aside $30 per paycheck to have enough for everything (to do it right).
Just wanted to motivate others to start your planning NOW, if you haven't already. If you're on a budget like me, don't wait too long to make some decisions on how you're going to do this.

I'm trying to figure out which car I want to drive the 2400 miles to Michigan. Maybe it's one that I haven't built yet?

Does that include the cost of building the car? I need to set aside a lot more than that just to get whatever car ready enough to make the trip. It would be cool to bring the Indy since it will be 25 years old.

I guess there are more than just a few benefits to living near the border. A three hour drive is all I've got to go - with an hour to get through customs in Detroit! Even though I'm close I still have the same problem as everyone else - only a year and a half to do all the things I want to get done with the TAZ!

Know the feeling, We'd like to be able to bring both fiero this time, butIi haven't touched the T-top in 2 years almost. Getting it running for the show wouldn't be a problem, getting it the way I'd like it to look will be.

I have a video production business and was wondering if anyone would be interested in a professionally done video of the event?
I will be attending with my car, but I could convince the crew to come along in a "voluntary" way (read Unpaid) so I could have 2 filming crews running around doing interviews, videotaping, etc..
Anyone know of who to contact so I could contact the GM reps that will be there so I can get those interviews lined up?
I'm thinking of selling the DVD's to PFF members at cost. Shooting for 1/2 hour of "show" and throw the B roll on the disc to fill the rest of it.
jeeeeez - 4 pages and no mention of track days?! or is this for another thread?
Pyrth,
You just mentioned it.
We will not be discussing details at this time. Again we are working on many things at this point. When we have all of our ducks in a row we will make an announcement on the official page and let everyone know.
The real fun is being there and looking at and talking Fieros. How your Fiero looks isn't nearly as important as being there!! Some of the most interesting Fieros are the ones that aren't finished yet!

I agree Tom,..when i go to shows i usually find the most enjoyment in checking out the projects or cars still not finished.
Just chatting with fellow enthusiasts is also a favorite.

I would hope that all/ if not.. most of the fiero onwers there in Canada come to show GM these "death trap on wheels"(as some call them) was one of the better cars they designed in the 80's. It woudl be really cool so see a lot of 84's there. Plus the more the merrier.

I went to the 20th without the wife. She wanted to go but couldn't and she is still mad every time it comes up. So we will be going, and I would love to caravan with the other NY Fieros.
thought id post the video links so we could psych up for the event. I'm still trying to decide if i want to accept the challenge to manage another video prioduction... although i have a ton of ideas on how to do it better.

If you do take up the challenge again, I'll be on the buyers list again also!
