Hey Pete got a couple of newbie London Fiero owners interested in attending dinner on Sunday too! Just signed up on the forum and hasn't got approval to post any messages yet though. I'll send ya a PM with more details. Weather is looking good so far for Sunday too, so it looks like I'll be drivin to Kitchener for dinner on Sunday!!
Well it was lucky I actually spent some time reading this forum or I may have missed this thread. Anyways count me in Pete and 3 others......four in total.
It will be great to see everyone once again.

Wow what a trip home!!! 401 Closed at Innerkip exit!! Detour though Innerkip to Woodstock after delayed on the 401 for almost an hour!! Think we moved about 2kms in one hour, oh how I wish I was driving an automatic for that hour!! LOL Took almost 2hrs from Kitchener till we arrived safe and sound in London. Hope all who left before and after me made it home safe. Do have a few pics to post for those interested though, sorry about the quality but don't really like to be the obnoxious guy with camera flash in the restaurant!
Birthday in the background here, so wanted to see Pete with the Moose Antlers on though!! LOL
Hey Beck, was wondering if you could post some pictures from your cell phone on here?? LOL
Good times had by all, it was good to see everyone again!
Great pics Scott Good thing you brought your camera. The weather was nice and so was the company.
I didn't get to do my little surprise, so, here it is.
At our Great Lakes Fiero Show this year, we'll have a SOFA windshield (clear background) decal for each registered car. We'll also have more, but, I thought is was about time we had our own. If you want more than one we'll work out that down the road.

Arn that design looks good and I love the idea! Let me know if you need any help there. Well, time to contact my cast and crew and send out more emails. Oh the joys of Producing lol.
Take care guys and I'll see you all at the Mapleview shows.
Desi
PS> Anyone know what the date is for the 1st show yet? And Gene i'll call you sometime this week to drop off your copy of the DVD.

Well it was fun to see a great turnout for this event....24 I believe. Can't wait for spring to arrive to bring the cars out of storage. I will try to post some pictures via myfiero.com because I can't get my PIP to work anymore. Well here goes.
Congrats goes out to Andy on a beautiful new toy.....Saturn Sky Redline (turbo) beautiful car. Maybe alternate the two cars at Mapleview or use it on those rainydays since it's your daily driver. This is not Andy's car.....so Andy feel free to post a couple.

Man....looks like you guys have a great time out in the east.....I spoke with Arn on the phone the other day to discuss a few things, and man.....what a great guy you've got out there. It was a pleasure to chat, and hopefully one day we can meet at a show or something!!
No offense to the Calgary guys here, but they all seem to hibernate from the middle of October to the middle of April. For my first Club experience, I was FAR from impressed. I tried to go to one of the last meetings of the year in October, and only 2 guys actually turned around to acknowledge my presence. Maybe it was just a bad day for the group, or I showed up in the midst of some kinda "top secret" conversation. I want to have a group that I can discuss my hobby with, and get some insight that only comes from more experienced enthusiasts than myself. I see you guys always have great turn-outs, and am quite envious.
First impressions only happy once, and I hope I can get proven wrong from the Calgary Club come spring when I try to attend another club meet.
Enough of my rant......I hope you guys will enjoy the new stickers that are coming your way!!!
All I know is I pulled into the parking lot and the first person I saw was Adam (thumper) who I have met already many times. After sitting for a while some I met two Brians not sure what is up with that but they seemed nice. Then some bald headed person sat down and chatted for a while he also seemed pretty nice. From what I saw there is quite a few good people in the SOFA group and I did enjoy myself so thanks to the group that organized the nice dinner. Dan

We had a great time as usual. Nice to see everyone again and to meet a couple of folks I'd never met before. Thanks to Pete and Beck for organizing this. And now lets get rid of this crap weather and get the cars back on the road.

I knew it
BTW - Andy, congrats on the toy. I really like the Sky, waaaaaaaay better looking then the Solstice. Only thing, when I was sitting in one the interior plastics finish was disappointing (cheaply made) kinda turned me off of it Hope they'll improve it.
Haha no Arn i don't have enough room for both in the garage, the thought of making the Fiero sleep outside had crossed my mind but i thought better of it. But its true what they say.... once the top is down... there isn't even room for a folding camp chair lol... Good thing i don't ever have passangers with me haha.
