Andrew STILL never sent me my hood badge...and yet I still got swept up by his creativity, in the hopes that he had learned his lesson from before. I was wrong. Alot of people were wrong.
Do your homework and read the posts where I've pleaded with Andrew to do the right thing. And he has done anything, but. I applaud AutoTech for calling him out as he did. Goodness knows, Andrew has had the opportunity to make good. A simple "I will make good" is all that was required. This is nothing like the ridiculous beef with Archie, and it's lame that you would even make the comparison. To my account and knowledge, Archie has never stolen money, lied to people, and disappeared for months...only to surface elsewhere on the internet selling the very goods he's not made due to people on Pennock's.
So please, if your going to stick up for Andrew...state that folks haven't given him enough time to spit on a rag and polish a 6 inch piece of aluminum. It's only been since November. Remind folks of the realities of mental illness concerns, and that this guy, while talented, apparently has some real deep issues that need to be addressed by a doctor and we might want to sympathize with his plight. But that's hard to do when he shuts down all communication and still is able to sell stuff on ebay. Perhaps $100 is not a big deal to you or for others...I've lost more over sillier things. But this is much more than about money. It's about trust and being repeatedly lied to.
I hope you don't take my issue with your temporary lapse in judgment personal...but what Andrew is doing to people on this group buy has become VERY personal, and I could not let your blast on someone who has been ripped off, go unchecked.

New Update. He has left me Negative Feedback on Ebay, he says he sent the item to my house and that I signed for it. I haven't signed for anything nor have I seen the Badge. This is going to get nasty.

Didn't you give him a negative feedback on ebay? This is his only "neg" in the past 12 months. According to his ebay feedback he's certainly doing well enough to ship his products over there. Even completed a sale of the new style badge.

Haven't paid him for anything, and we had no contract between us, but he agreed to do some things for me that he hasn't done. I have gotten excuses too, but mostly I get silence. After making the logo for the GAS event (see here and here, and the link in my sig), he was going to create a Cafepress merchandise store for me. He did in fact upload the logo to Cafepress (see here), but the window stickers cut off parts of the image, and the window stickers were the most important thing I wanted to offer (don't buy anything there, as a new GAS store will replace that one). Nothing more was done after that, and that was a LONG time ago, so unfortunately I had to go looking for someone else to help out after Andrew disappeared (again). I believe I found such a guy, a well known member here, who is going to be of some help, if he has the time. My personal issues this past year have kept me from promoting the event anyway, so until now it hasn't made too much difference, but soon I will update the website and get busy with getting the word out.
I just thought this discussion of Andrew would be an appropriate place to share my experience with him. But like I said, it hasn't cost me any money.

I spoke with F-I-E-R-O via PM last year, and ended up receiving several of the "forged" badges at no charge. I recall receiving 3-4 of them total of varying styles.
They are top notch, and high quality. I sincerely hope that all of this gets resolved.
Hard times happen to everyone, and there is a chance something is happening that he is not able to, or willing to mention here.
I will snap some photos of what I have as soon as I can. Maybe I can help make this right for some of you with the few that I have.

apparently you haven't read the entire history of this particular event. let me tell you why no one thinks that there is nothing happening to him that would cause him not to be able to give us an update:
HE IS STILL SELLING AND BUYING ON EBAY. HE ANSWERS QUESTIONS VERY QUICKLY FOR PEOPLE ON EBAY WHILE IGNORING US.
Is there really ANY reason that he would talk to everyone but those of us who sent him money from an order he took on PFF? He apparently has no problem answering people on eBay.
