I'm new to PFF and have seen red fiero threads and white fiero threads and would like to share some photos of my purple fiero. My son had an 85 2M4 back in 1995 and I always liked the car. I finally got myself my "new" 86 GT this past summer. I enjoy this forum a lot, wish it had been around when I was working on my sons car. Thank you to all the members who supply so much information we need to maintain our fieros.
Nice pics over at Niawanda Park! I see you have your Fiero out and about already! I pulled mine out of the garage today, but haven't hit the streets yet! Probably would have by now, except I let the inspection lapse from last year as it was due in Nov and I decided to wait. Paying for it now!

Just had her out of the garage on a nice sunny dry day John. A rare treat here in WNY. Snowing again today.

Posting pics is very simple. Go to: http://www.myfiero.com and click on "imagehost" and upload a picture from your computer. It has to be less than 100KB, but it is free and it's all cut & paste to your thread.

DONE: 86gt 5 speed 4.9 complete rebuild with buds outback northstar pistons , delta cams E303 cam , full ported , polished , stronger head springs, and flow tested heads and manifolds. rockcrawl's custom chip , polished crank . too much to list
Man I love purple!! lol.. was gonna paint mine that color, the House of Color one, but I couldn't pick out the exact shade of paints they used... there are like 3 separate layers you have to use... and none of them looked like that car did... plus it was more expensive than the $200 a pint we used... and forget about chameleon colors... ouch...
I had a hard time picking the purple color... believe it or not, I ended up picking the color that matched my steering wheel... laugh...
Now all I need to do is get my dash trim black/grey marble installed, get the car buffed out so I can put my metallic blue decals on and he'll be ready for Fierorama this year... along with my daughters blue fiero, my son's white/grey fiero and Max's ZR2 fiero... got lots of stuff to do yet, hope we get it all done!!
Course I should put a pic of Max's now extinct purple car Night Wolf: (had both red and blue metallic flakes in it, and I thought that paint was expensive at $45 a pint..lol) Frame rusted over the spring, it broke at about 55 mph... that was a very scary 45 seconds, let me tell you!! It ripped the entire sidewall out of the back tire almost completely all the way around the circumference..

possumlips it's PPG Perfect Purple, not sure what the code number is on it without checking the paint can itself... but you should be able to go to any paint store or shop that deals with PPG colors and find it... although it's not cheap by any means... lol..
