OK, so for the lights, as far as I know, we need 2 hight beam and 2 low beam and 4 connectors...I think. Does anyone know about the adjuster kit? Is that something worth looking into? And also, wiring wise, does anyone know what the turn around time is for Orief or is it something that can be done by ourselves. I am not trying to take away from Orief's business but I sort of want to get these installed asap. I have the flush mount buckets in my car right now and I hate them. I cannot see anything off to the side of the road and I really would like to have the possibility to see the deer before I hit it in the ankles.

Hey Brad, I received my buckets two days ago. I just would like to thank you and Timo again for a great job making, shipping, picking up and shipping out! What a team you guys were. There are no group of people better than Fiero people!
Have we firgured out exactly what parts we need to finish this install? I've seen the list and it just doesn't look right, maybe it is but I don't want to be a ginnie pig anymore for this project.
Are these what we're ordering? There appears to be too many damn options...
HL68136 90mm High Beam Lamp, H9 Bulb, Adjusters, each, Requires 1 HL87193 per lamp. $59.75 HL68137 90mm Low Beam Lamp, H9 Bulb, Adjusters, each, Requires 1 HL87193 per lamp. $59.75 (2) HL87193 H9 Connector with terminals and seals, each $6.70

You will also need some black plastic 1/4" door edge guard to go along the top edge of the buckets, paint for the buckets, corrigated 3/8" split sleeving for the harnesses.
Also there are 3 adjusters per lamp. See the pic above for placement.
I am in the process of doing a write-up on how to make the harnesses, complete with a schematic and pics. As soon as I finish it I will start a thread under Tech and post a link here. I'm hoping to have it posted by the weekend.

Also I understand that it's tough to paint galvanization? Should I just have mine sandblasted?
Yes just painting the galvanized metal will not work. There are primers made to be painted over the galvanized metal so you can paint them with regular paint or you can sandblast them and then powder coat or paint them.

Haven't had any problems since I did them last year.
I'm ordering my lights and Por-15 today, and I was just wondering how you apply Por-15 to the buckets? What kind of brush do you use or Is it sprayed on?

I used a high quality 1/2" staining brush from a hardware store. (the cheap ones can leave brush hairs in the paint) The POR-15 is a "self-leveling" coating. So you brush it on (nice thin coat) and as it dries it flatten/levels itself out. Once dry it looks like it was powder-coated. NOTE: Stir it before you paint, Do NOT shake it. This will put tiny air bubbles into the paint and it could cause "pits" in the paint as it levels/dries.

I'll eventually buy a HID conversion kit, probably from f1spec, I've been running some 6000k HID's on my civic for 7 months and haven't been pulled over once although they are illegal.
