i would like to thank the organizers of the track day .it was a lot of fun and really well run .i didnt get a lot of laps in due to a little black smoke problem that i had coming out of the right rear corner of the car .when i brought it in to check it , i noticed that the hanger bracket that holds up my turbo piping had broken and everything had started to sag down to the road so i called it a day .but while i was out on the track i was really happy with the way the car handled and how my turbo ecotec ran .the thing that i was really impressed with is that i did not have to shift gears .the engine in my car has a very broad power band so i ran the whole track in third gear .the straights are fairly short so if i revved it all the way to 7000 i was going too fast and thats when i would get a little sideways in the next turn .the fire problem turned out to be the bumper cover near the tail pipe tip was melting .no biggie , next time i will be better preparared , spend a few days checking everything out and lap the whole day .mike in the beautiful red v8 parked next to me was a big help getting me going after tech inspection .

My son shot some good video and had created a cool video program with music and stuff. But we are currently vacationing in Northern Michigan and only have dial up availible. My son plans to load the video onto YouTube when we get home in a few days. I'll post when it is availible.

there was also a guy with a snappy steering wheel setup with a digicam in the center who was on top of the tower making videos. I think he said he was from the Fiero Store.

OK here is the first video that my son put togther. It is not the "in-car" stuff. That video is in the process of being made. This video is shot (mostly) from the observation deck of the tower.
