This year we'll be having the full Slushpuppy line with freebies for the drivers and significant others. This is thanks to MidEngineManiac and his boss who are supplying the truck and stuff for our show. We are hoping to have Icecaps and we'll know fairly soon on that one. If you see this on the road, it is likely Mid
The plan is for awards to be at 4pm, dinner starting from 4:30pm and onward, and the St. Thomas Dragway opens at 6pm. Tigerjacks will be ready to get us served and get the folks out the door for a night at the track. The folks not going to the track can have a nice leisurely evening.
Be looking for your goody bag this year. Remember you can sign up on line at www.fieros.ca
See you there
Arn

LMAO....the timeslips would read "Slowest run in the history of the facility"
The throttle lag on that thing is almost bad enough that I can step on it, light a smoke, have a coffee---and by then SOMETHING might have happened. ;D

Well all! I just had an updating chat with Arn and the plans are coming together really well, thank you Arn. Thank you to all of pre registers to help us plan for enough prizes and such, cause we don't want to run out of give-aways !
There also seems to be a fair bit of local support as well to come out an enjoy the day with us. As you know anyone can bring out a show motorcycle, hot rod, classic whatever for the Free show and shine, (but are not eligable for the trophies and prizes available for us fiero folk that do support, and together fund this event.) Pete
Maybe you can score a ride with one of the GTA guys. Hope to see you.
We're looking at a sunny day according to the forecast. It should be a blast. We have lots of cold drinks on line and our show keeps growing every year.
Big advantage for the guys who were at the 25th - You've already done your prep work

Hey Arn any objections to my car being there without me?? As I mentioned I do have some other plans for the day but I'm sure "RollinRed" wouldn't mind goin to day camp without me! hehe The more Fieros the better right? I may possibly be back in time for part of the show? The trip to the drag strip is on my list of things to do in the evening if I haven't suffered sunstoke by the end of the day. The 25th was a good show (even got me a shiney thing to put on the mantel), and maybe some of the Michigan guys reading this thread might make the trip to London!! As mentioned I want to support the show, even if I can't be present all day!
Scott
P.S Curious as to if Mid-Engine is going to dress up as the Slush Puppie mascot?? LOL j/k Mid!
Do ya think you would be able to babysit RollinRed for the day? I'll try and give you call this week sometime. Thanks again for the quick repair Wednesday before the 25th, she ran like a dream. That was only the second time she had ever been on the back of a towtruck in the 10yrs I've owned her!
I'll be in touch RE registration payment Arn.

We now have 23 pre-registered. This is more than double the pre-registers than we normally have. Nice thing having the 25th before the Great Lakes Fiero Show. Everybody has their cars ready and are up for a good time.
Weather is looking good, and it should be a great show.

I can hardly wait to see all the Fieros!! I have entered my car....but as Arn knows I have no chance in h*** of winning anything do to the fact that mine is a project in progress....and that project will take the next five years at least to get her back to decent shape. Maybe I can park mine in a really dark corner ....hey Arn is there any dark corners to hide my ride?
Can't wait to talk to some of the guys and girls that have completed Fieros!!
I was talking to a fella with the Ontario Pontiac Club. They're planning on having about a dozen cars come out in support at the event and for some friendly competition at the track. Way cool
Hmmm, this show is running a little later then the previous years? Makes it easier for the GTA guys to get there on time.
Unfortunately I won't be there this year, my mother is getting married Friday and has plans for saturday afternoon with the family . Hopefully third time works out for her.
Aw, congrats on your mom Adam!!

See ya there! Jay
Hey, at least yours is a DRIVEABLE project in progress
My car is running again [imghttps://www.fiero.nl/forum/icons/icon10.gif[/img], but my doors still sag, even after swapping the pins. I need to shim the doors, recover the headliner, and do some wiring work. I doubt I will have my car there, short of a miracle. I also need to put valid stickers and insruance back on it, since I've had it off the road.
Who knows, I've done more in less time .... :}

I am really starting to hate my car... Seems I lost all my clutch fluid some how. Hope I can get it sorted on time. I think I have a spare line somewhere if that's my problem. Going to try bleeding it again tonight.
Man, if it doesnt stop raining I'll never be able to get my car ready for saturday. The one good day we had i had to work late and couldnt get anything done...now they are calling for rain tomorrow and saturday! Lame.
Well just an update for those travelling from the GTA area. We are all meeting up at the service center on the 401 just outside of Milton (which has the McDonalds) and leaving there at approx. 8am. So if you want to get something to eat be there earlier as we are planning to depart from there at 8am.

Well folks, I've been hit with bad luck. My director missed submitting my overtime, so I won't be able to make it this weekend. Even if I had the car together, I have no "play" funds for a tank of gas and new stickers for the car right now. I took my family camping last week, assuming it had been submitted. Oh well, next year.
That said, I am still up for hosting the fall BBQ, and if anyone wants to drop by on Saturday on your way home from the show, I can PM you directions. I am right off the highway 401, at Woodstock. ------------------ Jay Brintnell Southern Ontario Fiero Association Yellow 85 Notchback(A.K.A. GodFearN)
