i was thinkin the same thing about 8am, sheesh, i might as well stay up all night!
Latest on the wx:
'Saturday: Becoming cloudy. 40 percent chance of showers in the afternoon. A few showers beginning late in the day. Risk of a thunderstorm in the afternoon and evening. Wind becoming southwest 20 km/h in the afternoon. High 25.'
so we should be good for most of the day... doing some cleaning 2nite after work, hope it doesn't rain on the way there.
Well it was 40% chance of showers today and to be fair I did get one little sprinkle this morning, but not enough to go inside, just enough to wipe the car down.
Sunny most of the day with passing clouds.
The 40% takes in a big area. Their 40% includes the Lake Huron and Lake Erie shore lines. and we're a long way away.
It should be the same as last year. We hardly ever get rain the second weekend in August here in London and I expect no different. The driver packages are made up and the trophies are all in. We have some really nice things on the go this year. Too bad about Philbur's Northstar. Seems to me I've heard bad luck with another Northstar . I hope the oil leak is an easy fix Phil.
See you tomorrow.

Monring everyone time to clean up the car before the show, too busy yesterday and the weather wasn't co-oprative till it was time to go for the wedding. See everyone in a few hours.
See ya all in a few hours. I am busy pre-mixing ice cap mix while sucking back coffee. TALK about a great start to a day, 6 gallons of cafine all in one place !!
We got some massive thunderstorms through Woodstock this afternoon. How did things go at the strip? Did it happen?
Rain started here shortly after show end. Hasn't stopped since, so I'm pretty sure the strip was a no go as a result. Too bad, I was looking forward to that.

Well it was an eventful day. From getting half way there this morning and then having to turn back to go home and then get back to the show. It was all good. It was a fun time and great to see everyone again. Here are some of the shots I took. The day turned out to be beautiful for the show. It only rained during dinner and on the way home, but oh well.
Great pictures Dave.........you sure do have a good memory of most people's cars. Oh by the way I think Sue should be part of the throphy ceremonies from now on.........wink wink.
My car
John's beautiful Artero
Bob's (class winner & best of show)
Ryan's awesome machine (to bad BubbaJoe didn't show)
Field overview
Overview 2
Bob Holtz changing an O2 sensor in the class winning car........lucky judges didn't see that Lothar
Once again great show and fun times...........Thanks again to Arn and his wife, Sue for helping at the booth and Pete & Becky for continuing with there support.............special mention to Pete's Dad for helping Pete judge the cars.......someone had to keep him honest.

It was my first time out at an event since i got my car just before the winter and let me thank everyone who organized it for making a great day out of it. I had a great time talking to fellow Fiero owners and I got alot of awesome ideas for future mods to my car! Too bad the rain came down. I was really looking forward to seeing some Fieros go down the qtr mile!
I didnt get a chance to talk to the owner of this car though....anybody know if that black peice of plastic on the nose of the passenger side is a retractable lic plate holder?? If it is thats a brilliant idea!!
Great show guys, I'll post some of my pictues soon, they're on my girlfriend's camera. I forgot mine. Did anybody go to the track at night? It was raining pretty good!

LMAO.......I live 5 minutes from the track and I dont think much happened since we had no power down here.
THAT was one whopper of a storm. My barn was hit at least 6 times, and the house at least twice. THANK YOU whoever invented lightning rods and ground cables.

Hey guys.... glad you like the retractable plate! heres some pics to illustrate how it works... mounting was pretty easy too.
The idea actually came from the Saturn Roadster Forums. alot of the solstice guys are using them because of that ugly front plate location. It's really designed for C5 and C6 Corvettes but works great on a Fiero too.
SUPER SHOW!! SUPER PEOPLE!! Thanks to Arn (GREAT job), Pete & Becky, Brian Finch, and everyone else, especially Sue (for all the hugs and kisses!!), who helped to put on another GREAT show this year. See you all soon....Lothar
Thanks everyone, I had a good time at the show and was glad to meet more Fiero folks closer to home. Here's some of my fav pics I took yesterday - I kept the uncompressed versions - if anyone wants one, send me a PM. Ryan
Hey where were you guys!! I ran my best times ever at the track Saturday night!! LOL And that was drivin the Hyundai with the wipers on (Dave and Sue)!! Things were a little slick at the end of the track though so I used my specially pattented parking brake. You know the one I was mentioning, the brick on the rope!! LOL I will have to email you an actual picture.
Ok just kiddin about the track, but not about the parking brake! Works like a dream! Looked like another successful SOFA show, good work Arn, Pete, Sue, Ellen, and all the others involved. I guess it was noticed that I wasn't there all day, got busted tryin to sneak in the back way. But was there in spirit, and most importantly the car was there!
Thanks for the assitance changing those back plug wires Alex, you saved me alot of wrench throwin and a tempertantrum! Big thanks to Pete for babysittin my car for me!!
Always a pleasure meeting up with everyone, a great bunch of people!

Nice pics and thanks for sharing them. It was a great day and we did not have to roast over the hot ashpalt of the parking lot. The rain did cancel the drag racing but that just left us a longer dinner to enjoy. Nice to see the interest and turn out from the local F body group and Pontiac club ( www.lface.com and www.ontariopontiacclub.com )
Hope to see yous mid/late Sept for our Ipperwash beach cruise so we all can park on the sand again. Maybe get a BBQ on the beach even
Beck and I may have a little something to bring out to share with yous that day....NO she is not preggo and we are not moving
