For being the first 3800SC Fiero ton reach the 10's you have hit a historic milestone in Fiero performance. Great job! I'm assuming that you added a shot of nitrous to some pretty wild boost in order to acheive this ET.

I thought he ditched the SuperCharger in favor of a Turbo?

The 10's aren't even fast anymore. Time for the 9's! LOL!
------------------
1 of 2: Graphite Grey Pearl 87 GT 5 spd: 2.8L (Best 1/4 mile: 15.57@87mph, 2.0 60ft) 2 of 2: Ferrari Red 88 Formula/4T65EHD: 97 GTP Motor (Best 1/4 mile: 12.0@118mph, 1.89 60ft w/True Street Radial Tires not Drag Radials!)
1) were you running on DR's? (if so, what size? & PSI) 2) were you on pump gas or race fuel? 3) were you scanning? ( <--- read, any knock?)
Tires are MT ET streets, 26x10.5x15 20 psi
6 gallons of 91 and 4 gallons of C12 (114 octane)
I scanned the last pass, and got 0 knock. I also got 0 knock on the dyno, when i went lean and made 21.6 psi of boost and went 13.1:1 af. Tom thinks my knock sensors arent working, but if that were the case they would throw a code. I dont have any codes.

This is what worries me most about my car. I'm affraid to run it too hard cause I have no clue whats going on with it. I wish I could find a tuner/person (who would'nt rape me money wise) to do a in car tune on my car. I feel it has a lot more potential from proper tuning but I wouldn't even know where to begin even if I had a laptop and the software.

Fan-friggin-tastic man. I still remember riding in that car back when it was supercharged, intercooled, and eating axels for breakfast.
I think next time I'll be needing full flight gear - G suit, O2 mask, helmet, the works.
When I put the money together to get my Fiero and swap the motor in it, there's no question you're the guy I'm coming to. I may not be looking for 9's, 10's, or even 11's, but there's no doubt you know what you're doing. I'll probably just get in line and pay for you to do it - that way I can't mess it up. Hehe.
Is the car pretty streetable? I see you have the ferrari looking front end so I'm assuming you drive it around town and stuff. I've always always wanted a car that fast that's good to drive around.

Can someone repost the video so I can view it at work? I can't view things on myspace or youtube at work. Although if you were to put it on streetfire.net or something, I'm not blocked from that.
Thanks, Matt

why's that? i think there's a few motors that fit the bill for the 9's. money is what it comes down to though
true...but from my view, I think the main reason why the Fieros haven't hit the 9's is the $$$ factor. The VW's and BMW's have hit the 9's a long time ago...that is one of the reasons why I opted for a VR6 in my Fiero....(also the fact that I haven't got a clue how the 3800 engine works was the deciding factor when I started my 3800 turbo swap and decided to stop)

Nah, of course you don't need an import motor in a Fiero to do 9s. What you need is a good trany, good traction setup, a good tune and a lot of cash. What I like more about this car is that it looks like your average stock Fiero. Very nice

Yeah, I drive it all the time. I have to drive about 20 miles to the track and back home, because i dont have a trailer. I drive it to work probably once a week. Id say I probably put 80-100 miles a week on it. I drove it to topeka for the power tour about a month ago. Drove about 300 miles in 1 day, and got 24.6 mpg doing so.
