Archie,

Any progress on the GT4T look-a-like dash you mentioned, to fit the stock interior cars?
Or are you waiting for your clone to show up to finish that project?

I thought I should bring this thread up to date on a few of the other things that have been going on at Archie's in the last few weeks.

This car just left for home today........You may have seen it last year at the FieroRama. It was powered by a 4 cylinder 5 speed. Don't pick on him anymore, now it has an LT1.

The Clone would be helpful.

Actually I have a "secret" dash project that the glass guy started pulling molds off of today. Then the dash your talking about is next.

Hey Archie, do you have any more pics of the front nose from a side angle?

Questions: How much futher-out does the front clip stick-out comparred to the stock GT front fascia? Can a person buy just the front piece including part of the side fender and hood? Do you have any close-ups of the hood raised and from underneath it?

Thanks madcurl

Question: Is that the PROM connection inside the trunk? Is that the same one that is located inside the car under or behind the lighter?

The front over hang on the Finale is actually 4" shorter than the stock Fiero GT nose.

I don't have any pics of the underside of the hood that I can think of, but I'll see if I can find some.

I can sell the front clip & hood seperately. However, the width of the trailing edge of the front fenders is about 2" wider than the stock door panels so something has to e done to blend them in.

Wow, that looks GREAT!!!!!!

You just added another car to the long list I call "Projects I have to do".

I hate you!

The funny thing is that Friday, before we left the shop for the weekend Rob, Kris & I were talking about what our next project would be & we discussed a Finale Roadster.

I can't wait to show them these pics Monday.

Glad you like them Archie. I for one would love to see that built. It takes the Finale to a whole new level. Plus think of all the potential Solstice owners you could steal off GM

Yes, the guy who owns this LT1 powered Finale came by & we put a quieter exhaust system on it.

Would there be anyway of taking the hatch piece from a Finale body kit and putting it onto a stock fiero body? I think the idea of a stock looking fiero wtih a hatch and window would be a great idea. Kinda like ferrari's (the 360 modena and F355 in mind) and just have a showcase for the engine...just wondering

It's an LT5 out of the C4 Corvette ZR1. DOHC 32 Valve V8 designed in cooperation with Lotus, built by Mercury if I remember right. Basically one of the rarest motors to go in the Vettes, with ZL1s.

I thought I'd boot this one up to the top so I can find it in a week or 2 to show you the new dash we have.

The prototype has been made, the molds are done, we'll be making several of them in the next 2 weeks.

A simple dash, low price, easy to install, what else can you ask for?

No prototype pics this time, you'll see finished pics first this time.
