stevenrossi Im lookin for one of these wings have you got one at the yard
Joe, I used to have one of those Firebirds, with that exact wing. Be aware that the wing in that pic is attached to clips that run along the side edges of the glass. If you mount that wing to a plain hatch, it won't have the clips. They're part of the hatch molding. Also be aware that the wing is made of soft urethane, and tends to crack. At least mine did. I'm sure you can work around all of that, but I wanted to save you the "surprises".

Isn't there something else you could use? I've been watching this project for awhile and love where the car is going. I was just worried that it was getting maybe alittle too Daytonaish. But whatever, it's your car, I'm just trying to heighten my vicarious experience. Oh, by the way, I'm jealous.
But really, you should come up with some lower side skirts with a scoop or something, and and chin spolier and a rear diffuser.

here is the pic of the finge mount for the glass and also the latest progress
deck lid so far now all that I have to do is bond it to the camaro hatch
as you can see the Camaro deck has had the uper skin removedup to 3 inches from the glass so the fiero deck can be sliped under the outer skin to hold it in place for bonding

why not just pull the defroster off that hatch? i ripped mine of the fiero not to long ago w/ only a razor blade. im digin' the hatch over the N*. Im still worried about you sucking up air thats in the 200* range w/ that hatch on there. i know that there will be fresh air coming in the vents and from the bottom of the car but still those intakes are close to the glass and the area close to the glass is going to be the hottest. atleast you can drive it in the rain now and not worry about get water in your carbs
