I can, but not right now, bedtime.

The first one shouldn't be much problem but the second might be a little trickier, though doable. If someone else wants to beat me to it, have at it.

I also modified your car a bit more to what I think would look good, but don't want to offend so I didn't post it, unless you want me to.

Here you go, curly. I was sitting here waiting on some new software to load anyway so I had some time to play with it.

No problem. It took me about 3 minutes each. In this case it was easier to bring the tires and ground up than the body down.

That's how I always do it. The guys on "Truck U" always refer to lowering as "raising the suspension".

Yeah, I'm hearing yah. I believe in the 2-finger rule, hehe. I trying to get some drop spindles as I type and the rears already have coil-overs. The F430 are for #015 choptop and I agree they don't flow with #020 smooth body lines.

I just find it funny that you've spend more on side mirrors then most people have spent on their cars, and more on rims then some people spend on houses .... haha Like I thought I was bad! (Just picked up some tan leather racing seats.. and amida's 355 Console Plate;D) They aren't cobra's though. sigh.

It'll be my goal to make it to the show next year. Looking forward to finally meeting you.

It's always best to get your college education first, then house(s), 401k, Roth IRA, Stocks.....and finally customize your Fiero the way you want it.

Corvette front Caliper/pad/13" rotor

Caliper/pad weight

Total weight of all two components

Althought the two piece rotor are part steel, part aluminum..I haven't gotten around to weighing #015's stock Corvette rotors. According to the Baer web site, the aluminum hats reduced weight is about 3 pounds for the fronts. It's my guess that the rears are a "wash" since the rotor has increased in size by 1".

The needed brackets to clear massive 14" rotors from Baer. The Baer Corvette Z51 brake upgrade package.

The kit bolts right up to the standard Corvette C5s w/o issues, however you'll need 19/20 wheel combo to clear. The Corvette donor once had a nice set of HRE 19/20 combo with a 19x11 (front) on a sticky 285/30/19 and the rears 345/25/20 just like Troy's and Leroy's. Unfortunately the owner wrecked his Corvette right after he souped up his ride. I'll be back to the housed (yah thats right...housed) salvaged yard next week for more goodies to pick up. These guys sell ZO6 C7 engine/cradle/suspension.

As you can see, the Baer Eradi speed rotors/brackets still have the original ID stickers on some of them. From what Mike told me, the Corvette owner had about 17,000 miles on them before he wreaked the car....his lost, a Fiero owners gain!

I asked Mike last week and he informed me, "We get several Corvettes bi-weekly and usually Factory Five buys them...the whole engine/wire harness/suspension/and brakes" However, they do have C5 brakes in the shop and as you see...a few specialty brake packages. Are you interested in the C5 or C6 brakes? Low milage? Since the introduction of the new C7 only two such car they've recieved and one of them sold for 11k (engine/wire harness/suspension/and brakes) .

C7? As far as I know the C6 is the latest version of the Corvette (base rated at 430HP, then the Z06 version rated at 505HP, and the new supercharged 650HP version which may be named the ZL1 due next year and rumored to be over 100K. I don’t believe a new C7 will be out until 2012.

Sorry to be anal, the C7 thing threw me off.

We had time to mount one of them today.

They look pretty good & are really comfortable to sit in.

Here's what they look like.....

However, the seating position is a bit higher than the Fiero seats & even without a headliner in the car they come really close to touching when you put them forward. They actually touched in a few places on the bare ceiling.

You can see that they are taller seats......

.........

You can see here that the bottom of the Fiero seat bottom is lower than the Vette.

Not to get too anal and take this tread too far off track...but I've heard many different monikers for the new super 'vette: Corvette SS, ZR1, Super Sport, Blue Devil, Sting Ray, Mako Shark...but not ZL1

I think you may be confusing the re-introduction of the ZL1 motor with the new Corvette. Motor Trend recently stated that the new Super 'vette will officially be called the ZR-1 and powered by supercharged LS9 making somewhere between 600-650 hp.

To make this interesting to Curley, let me note that the Corvette will come from the factory with 335/25Z/20 Michelin Pilot Sport ZP tires on the rear!!!

Curley are you still going to use these seats? They are bad a$$, and look awesome, but I don't know how they are going to fit after you put a headliner in there, unless you can figure a way to lower them.
