Lets give a little credit where credit is due (since that is politically correct):
Fiero Warehouse and Sage - Side scoops The FieroStore - parts, parts, and more parts (including many still to come). BV Motorsports - his documented installations were invaluable!! Carlisle Auto Salvage - supplier of my 88 cradle and suspension, engine and transmission, along with parts too numerous to mention). Rockcrawl - 4.9 installation king Skitime - ttop kit (thanks for holding it for a couple years for me ) Tom Derr - ttop installation and waterproof instruction manuals (very much appreciated!!) jscott and mrfixit - Firebird dash and doorpanel installation kings!! Carlisle Customs and Restorations (Carlisle Auto Body) - you seen it here!! Kris Munson - New flushmount headlight kit Sound Choice Inc - pending fiberglass fabrication on various interior components, along with electronics installation. Mr Mikes - Midnight and electric blue super sport leather seat covers Mark Hoagland - he is the man for parts in a pinch!! StockInteriors.com - dark grey carpet and floor mats Derek Dawson - filling in the missing/broken pieces of my Firebird dash Numerous others whom I have dealt with and not mentioned, but appreciate anyway!!

Well it's a miracle... My Fiero is returning to the nest this morning. Unfortunately not under it's own power, but it will be in my garage (provided my wife moves her junk out of the way). The shop is going to put it on their rollback before noon (and before the snow is expected to start) and drive it to the house without me I will have more/better pictures and the interior installation write-up here for your reading and viewing pleasure (or at least my entertainment).

I guess that we can finally add me to the Blue Fiero Club
Welcome aboard!
I can't believe I didn't see this thread until now. VERY NICE! Hmmm... That shade of blue looks way too familiar... I remember seeing a shade very close to that somewhere. Now where was it I've seen it? Oh...

Please don't say that too loud around my wife Hopefully I can get it done (before she notices the bank account) in time for show season 2006 - still a lot on my mind and time is getting short

Autozone was nice enough to put my Optima battery on their charger/tester and it appears to be alright. Granted, the car could use some time in the car running at 80mph down the interstate, but the battery at least appears to be fine
Goal for this weekend: Get the car started and able to drive again. THEN I will work on the Firebird dash and door panel mods. More pictures will be added this weekend

My wife came out to the garage and gave me the "WTF are you doing" look. Wonder why
I guess she isn't happy that I am cutting the firewall for behind the seat subwoofers
Now for the driver's side - but wait. She isn't finished with me yet. Apparently Hammer (my 8yr old son's hamster) died last night during the celebration. So my momentum stalls while I have to go find a new hamster on New Year's Day. Good luck

We successfully replaced the hamster and only lost 2 hours... Then broke my last disk after 10 minutes on the driver's side sub hole (and I can't get to the store until tomorrow - so...)
I took the opportunity to mess with the wiring again...

Every time I visit the garage, I just have to smile. The difference between what the Fiero was a year ago and what it is today (even though still under construction) is just phenomenal. What do you think?!?

It's reading threads like yours that keep me motivated to work on my car. Thank you.

I love having a winter project (that I can actually work on during the winter now that I have the car in a garage). When we moved into the condo a few years ago, my wife was nice enough to sell most of my power tools, so now I get my revenge. I just went to Lowes (again ) for a vice and jig saw (planning to make brackets and cut the Firebird door panels this weeked - AFTER I put my seats together with MrMikes!!). If I get all of that done, then it'll be on to building my "behind the seats" subwoofer boxes. I am really looking foward to yet another 3 day weekend (took off Friday ) so it'll be more Fiero work and more pictures posted here. This is getting fun
