Update you ask?

I have two sets of the taillights now (cosworth MK5) , I'll be using them on my fiero. The rotors are for the miata, and well... I'm sure you can tell that I'm going with a tan leather interior in the fiero. The new steering wheel is on its way here now. It's a Lecarra Mk4 Elegante Tan leather wrapped. I hope to have the new rims / rubber mounted pretty soon too. But you'll have to wait for that update.

I should have the N* ripped apart pretty soon. I'm going to build some headers for it, P&P the heads, new cams, and install the 99+ intake (which I bought 2 months ago and is taking forever to get here...... erg)

Well they aren't quite for the faint of heart price wise. But still worth the money IMO. It's amazing craftsmenship, and I thought it was worth it for my project VS spending countless hours of R&D to come up with the same / similar design.

I was never really a fan of them either. But I wanted to go with tan leather, mr mikes are nice, but I wanted to get away from the whole "stock fiero look". More of a sports car feel to these. And WOW are they comfortable.. For my size anyway, guys with large shoulders will have problems with the bolsters.

I really like amida's console, but I was going to modify it anyway, so I just bought the black inserts and no fiberglass. Simply because I'm building my own. I'll be making a new design for the center compartment, (these seats are alot wider), but I will still keep the inner cooling compartment for drinks. I'll just have to make a new housing for it.

You have to keep in mind that I have 3 fieros.... I'm going to use my 84' chassis for the SHO swap. So yes I am still doing that. It won't be too long before I am a certified welder either... Soo then I can get back to that chassis and finish up me a choptop frame!

I've read elsewhere in the forum that these seats are too big to fit in the Fiero. Have you test-fit them yet???

Basically they just overlap the centerconsole. But I have no intentions of running a factory console.

Well the seats were test fitted in the car today. It was difficult to get them in there.. haha.

After they were in there, they cleared the roof by 1.75", no headliner, no carpet. However thats with the sliders that came with them. I want to cut out the reinforcements under the seat, mount a flat floor and put the reinforcements under the floor boards. That way the seats will be lowered enough to clear the chop frame.

They clear everything fine ( alittle close to the b pillar ) , but will be fixed with in the floors. With no console they can recline against the firewall, otherwise they'd be leaning up against the console.

That's SOOOO good to hear that these seats will in fact fit, as they were also my original choice of seat for my project. I knew that the sides would hit the center console, so I've been working on my own design. It will be interesting to see these seats in your car.

If you are asking about the console, do read above about 5 posts, you will get your answer.

I wasn't really doubting the fitment, as I've seen a few fieros running them. The shoulders just block the front of the console door. It is really close to the B pillar though. I'll take pictures once I have everything in place. I'm still using the passenger side for parts as of right now, and there happens to be water sitting on my floor board... sigh. Hope to have it in the garage shortly.

The updates on my console....

This images is larger than 153600 bytes. Click to view.

Amida is making it as we speak. I'm getting anxious to see it.. haha

In case anyone is curious about the motor I'm building for my escort.... The manifold is done, and the turbo is mounted .

Picked up ANOTHER miata last night.. haha It'll be a quick restore and sell for some pocket cash.

Ohh and I made this today.

The current progress on the N*....

Well it looks like that. haha I got around to getting the 99 intake on it.
We just opened a new body shop so I've been spending lots of time there getting all the renovations done. Currently building our paint booth .

If your wondering as to where I got those skirts / widebody for the fiero...

However... These aren't for the faint of heart ($$$) either. They are being imported from england. Shipping alone is 450 dollars, not including duties or the 400 pounds (800 dollars) they actually cost. Not to mention the massive amounts of modifications needed to fit them. They are aftermarket MK5 Cosworth RS panels.

Let me know what you guys think about this one.

You missed a couple things... I have 2 Miata Projects, an Escort Project, 2 Fiero Projects (one of my cars is a parts frame), an 87 Trans Am, and a 66 Chevelle Project. I never personally made the header for the scort, however I had it built for me. At the moment the BPZE 1.8L I am building is running an HKS actuator spring set for 13-14psi on the T25 turbo. I didn't want to go any larger then the T25 A/R .60, because its a daily driver, and I wanted to spool lower for the off the line awd punch . The Escort will be a huge project as well, but I've got almost everything I need to get some solid hours in on it.

My second Miata I actually built for plans to re-sell, however the G/F has gained a taste of it, and really wants me to keep it. Sooo....

Other then installing the brembo's in the front (backs are done), and paint (when the snows gone), that project is done as far as I'm concerned .
I still have plans on finishing my 84', but with this Cosworth kit, I'll be able to get another widebody on the market. I'm going to modify the kit for the fiero, and offer it to the community.

This is my 87' Pontiac Trans Am GTA

She's Pretty much stock other than the BFG Drag Tires in the rear. I'm going to be selling this one this year I think. She ran a best of a 15.2 quarter with the 305HO / 5spd trans.

The Chevelle I picked up earlier in the year, but it needs a complete restoration, and I don't plan on touching it for a very long time.

Thanks! I like to throw alot of ideas around just so I can figure everything out, but I'm headed in the right direction for the 87..

Btw, I am holding back from you guys. I guess I haven't shown the 19/20 combo either eh... hahaha
Once I get the kit installed, I'll let you in on that one.

The seats are made by Tuner F/X. Jegs or Summitracing have the simulated leather ones which are beige for about 200 per seat (american + shipping) , The real leather ones are over double.

As for the escort;

Well this is what I'm going for;

And this is what it looks like now;

I'm obviously using this widebody kit on both of my cars, so I decided that it was worth it in the long run to import.. haha

Nope, only two of those seats are going in the fiero.

Naw I don't have anymore pictures of Custom because the frame is out in storage. I have the body in my garage which I'll be moving to my shop to finish after I'm all settled in.

I wish color would come out right in pictures. The color looks a lot like Mr.Mikes Lambo cream in those pictures.

I think the Tuner f/x are the same brand that Autozone has on sale now. (except that Autozones are only in black "simulated leather")

But heres another photoshop I just did this morning.

Perhaps another BP-T picture..

Perhaps an under skirt miata shot...

Consider this a stylish bump with some nice pictures to keep you interested.. haha

No not really. I have a few full time jobs, I haven't had much time lately. It seems that I've been spending more money then time on my cars lately. I've been finishing my electrical contracts at work (almost done!), working at the body shop after that (3/4 done the new paint booth).. I'll take lots of pictures next time I head out there, probally tuesday. And I've got a full time girlfriend, whom which I spend every night with. I was actually planning on asking her to marry me next year. So saving money for that at the same time.

In january I'll only be working part time (3 days a week) with my electrical contracting position, and I'm moving the 87GT from my house to the body shop. I was planning on doing some serious work to it before spring hits.

Those rims in the picture you like so much will actually be mounted on my car..... haha 19x8.5 / 20x10 Axis Shine. Glad you like them Al.
I got them in a 5x114.3 Bolt, 20 offset. So I'm going to have to change the pattern

Ahh and I made a new sig!

Just bought these 5 mins ago.

I'm hoping the vette wheel will have a 70-75 mm bolt circle so I can either use the original holes, or drill / tap my own holes for the wheel, or make a plate. Its the only wheel that I was 100% content with the color / style. I was looking at MK4 Lecarra Elegante wheels, which are similar.. But the lines aren't quite right.

The twin turbos are under the hood, then the exhaust gets dumped just behind the front tires through the sideskirts. LOL

I got them in a 5x114.3 Bolt, 20 offset. So I'm going to have to change the pattern

Didn't say I liked the wheels... I said I liked the car

Changing the bolt patern really isn't that bad to do...Which way were you going to do it?

If I order spindles this year I think I'm going to change the patern to 5x144.3 front and rear also.. Way way more wheel options. And my current wheels are 5x100 and 5x 144.3 so I don't need to upgrade yet... Just thinking ahead ya know
