I hope you don't mind some constructive criticism, but I think those exhaust tips need to be pulled into the body about two inches or so. It will give it a more refined look, instead of the 'hey, check out my aftermarket exhaust tips' look. Just a pet peeve of mine. The engine install looks great, by the way. ------------------

I understand, kinda looks ricey but when the guy was welding my exhaust thats what I decided, maybe when I re-do it with stainless steel several years down the road i'll pull them back into the groove, i've actually ran into them several times working on the car and thankfully have not bolted the hangers on or I would have some nice gashes on my shins

Every time I see this cutout picture I cry! Change it when you do the tips, I hate to see a very expensive cutout doing nothing but possibly hurting your exhaust flow.

lol I'm sorry. I did have some fun mounting my two... I mean sets.... of air horns sunday and tonight, one is a two trumpet, and the other is a three trumpet, loud horns are your best defense against motorists who dont see you - especially when you have alot of money wrapped up into your baby. will post pics tomorrow as its late already.

LOL@jerry horns, not yet they are hooked up and working but the cars stagnant while the garage is being finished. hopefully the car will be back in the garage tomorrow, my own slowness to blame as fixing up the house is the priority aiming for 2 weeks to put the house on the market to sell.

More "build" of the center console, the center rectangle part is going to be a dual cupholder, the open part is going to be a very well cushioned arm rest. the part where the shifter has a hole in it for "Fitting" purposes, eventually it will be cut out to the correct size, things go slow around here.... especially the resin hardening. (except one batch when I accidently added twice the hardener.... started gel'n in 3 minutes!)

ok, heres the deal with the cupholder insert from a ford escort/tracer late model sedan: Pic of where it comes from, and how it looks: Ebay link of one currently 4sale: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymot...p1638Q2em118Q2el1247]http ://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymot...p1638Q2em118Q2el1247An escort forum link: http://www.feoa.net/modules...&highlight=cupholderThe escort forum compains about them.... rofl, they're lucky they dont have a cupholderless Fiero! the only smart thing people mentioned was put some velcro on the bottom because a large bottle or something will pull the insert out. I could not find a listing for the #'s on the bottom, so here we go with everything on the bottom Except the "Type of plastic used" # CAV.2 44ZG-2393 F8C6-6313562-AAW SAE PP-T20 hope that helps, supposedly if you can locate 97-2002 tracer/escort they are common. Oh, and heres what mine looks like out of the mold an hour ago:

it takes me about 90 minutes to get there, I dont plan on going anytime soon as there was 1 Fiero there and it was a very bad beater, did you try http://www.windshieldstogo.com/ for a new windshield, they are pretty cheap from there for a new windshield, and I know they have a warehouse in lancaster

Yeah you forgot to mention that most of the stuff in the garage is gonna make it home in my trunk...or was it the shed? hehe The carpet and heat shield looks good though, don't know how I missed it after I got back from KoP...Maybe it was the tempting smell of Barbie's burgers The best is yet to come though, more pics of the center console Thanks again for the help with the power trunk release, and of course the wonderful burgers. Barbie is a great griller Guess I'll see ya tomorrow morning sometime. Maybe I will even remember to bring my cough syrup this time [This message has been edited by Xerces_Blackthorne (edited 09-08-2008).]

I'm glad the stuff will find a good home, lol the carpet was installed before you even came over the first time, see the post time it was 5:30am, I had just finished it 40 minutes earlier. Believe it or not, those burgers were cooked on a Forman grill in the kitchen! All the taste, none of the grease! Tomorrow morning, I gotta track down the UPS man for my ULINE nitrile gloves, I burned through 360 gloves in the last 2 weeks and I'm out again. - I cant help it I like to keep my hands and work area as clean as possible now, on to todays work.... I thought that the sides of the center console were too short, so here I am making the sides longer: Sides hard.... NEW project! First part, adding speaker covers/holes to non-B pillar speaker part (blue outline marked and center cut) next project is a little experiment I am attempting, I have speakers in the hole under the seatbelt so I am putting somewhat of a speaker pod at the top of the foam block, and if you look carefully (will add closeup eventually) theres a "L" shape cut into the bottom, thats going to support a L shaped part that the T-TOPS will sit on top of, behind the seats. Jebus, I gotta take it easy... groin is sore as hell. you can be the grunt and ill be the supervisor I can do the headliner NP, but asking me to do anything on the car involves bending over/leaning and I need to restrict myself from that tomorrow, I shouldnt have moved that crap in the shed I think I over did it, plus the damn cat made me hurt trying to catch it tonight.
