it's been so long that i posted i dont remember where i left off at.
currently it starts and runs. shifts through the gears ok.

brakes are not working correctly.
one caliper is not getting fluid, and i haven't had time to look in to it. i probably need to manually reset the flute valve.

but at least i can drive it in and out of the garage "if" i ever get time to play with it again.

a car is coming over today to have me true up the spoked wheels. i haven't tuned spoked wheels since the 80's when motorcycles started using mags. and i wasn't very good at it back then so this will be a re-learning experience.

but rest assured that it's still here

Well I have decided to keep Anna in the family.
My stepson will be 16 in less than a year.

These are some things I need that I have posted in the mall.
i am hoping for free, but cheap is good too.

Left power mirror

Right front grooved marker light

3 screws that hold the arm rest on

5 plain lugnuts

really I should have parted this car out, but I just couldn’t do that to a one owner 84.

Buddy,

I can help you with the lug nuts, Right headlight door (even red), And the brake proportioning valve. The valve is out of an '84 and the parts car I have had brakes, so it should be OK. No power mirrors, I don't think, but I'll look. Now that I think of it, I should have a power mirror somewhere........ I should have the screws for the armrests as well in one of the parts cars. Yours for the shipping, if you want them. Want I should send the water pump for the V8 along? Send me a PM.

John Stricker

Edited to add................. I'm coming to Topeka to Heartland Park to work races this weekend. I can bring the stuff along if you want to run over to pick them up. I'll check on the parts tomorrow to make sure everything's in order. PM me with a phone number or something.

Buddy,

Hopefully the box of parts was still there at HPT for you. Sorry I couldn't hang around and wait for you. It seems like we always just manage to miss each other.

(I actually don't give a hoot about meeting you, but I'd sure like to meet Polly! )

Good luck getting her back on the road. I really hope your step son enjoys the car and appreciates what your doing for him. Fiero's make great first cars, I got mine when i was 15 and it's the only car I really enjoy driving.

it's a one owner car, with a GM goodwrench engine replaced about 60,000 miles ago.

well Anna is gone.
sold for $800.00
i dont want to look at my receipts, i hope i made my money back on what i spent on her.
but there's no way i made any money on the time i spent working on her.

at least she has gone to an acquaintance of mine. so hopefully she will be back when something needs repaired.

ouch maybe you should have kept her safe in the garage where the only thing to hit her would be some wrenches.
