We saw some interesting body kits & custom fiberglass parts.

As you can see, MrMike was impressed.

Here's a custom hood for a GT. It fills in the space. In person, it looked good. The vents would be cut out when finished

Other rebody's in progress

The "deck lid" cover isn't quite ready for production. The lourves will be cut out for heat venting. The underside will also be finished with a molded fiberglass piece that mimics the underside of the stock Fiero deck lid, sealing the Fiero trunk. The indentations in the lid is for mounting the Fiero wing.

Hmm. I would have thought that the two cut-outs where for venting and not for the wing stands. What type of rear glass is being used? Any pics of the hindges?

The venting of the Fiero trunk wouldn't help with cooling as that is where the Fiero wing is mounted.

That rear deck lid would look a whole lot better without those hideous vents.
They look like stair steps for a cat to walk up your car

Something like the Ferrari Modena 360 would look a LOT better...

It's nice but, IMO it contains one of the major issue using a flat glass. As with the Modena and others the glass is curved or half moon shaped. In order pull-off the exotic look you'll need to use a different type of glass. In addition to that, you'll need to pull inward the c-pillers and mimick the curviture onto the roof top. This will draw your eye away for the glass and around the sides of the car. Granted, if the glass is tappered like the Modena, that'll help draw your eyes down away from the area too.

The guy said the vents & the wing mount indents could be eliminated. You would need to use fans and or ducting to remove the heat

So how do we get more info on the deck lid?

When will it be ready for the public?

Can you order it without the vents as an opotion?

How does the engine bay & trunk look through the glass?

More questions to come.

THANKS for the info so far!

Good question. He is in the process of making three kits, all accounted for. He builds custom boats, so the kit car build is not his full time project. It is a one man operation, so there is only so much time available.

Thanks for the post, but what is up with all the secrecy?

I would have though that this thread was to promote the items.

Too bad there is no more info on the "hatch back" lid.

I would like to explore getting one when they become available.

I love how the word Designer gets thrown around. ha Everyone thinks they are a designer.
Besides that the kit looks good, the prorportions are definatley off, but that its a great effort and a ton of skill.
I talked to this gentleman at Daytona 2006. He made a mention of the car while we were looking at the orange one.

Jake, this thread started more than two months ago.

I posted inquires twice with no response.

I for one presume this is a "pink elephant", and may never see the light of day after what ahs been posted.

I hope that I am wrong.
