Well I recieved the stock spindles from Archie when I got back from the California Coast Run. I did not have time to install them as I left for Austin TX two days after I got back in town. I should be back the 19th and will look at putting them on then. I did just read a thread about air bags which I find intrigueing...???

No because I have not been back in town long enough. I plan on doing it next week when I get back next week.

Well I will be polishing wheels for a couple of days next week if you want to come over
I'm almost not looking forward to seeing this car get painted. That flat black looks so sinister. If it were mine I'd be half tempted to have the wheel centers painted the matching flat black, and just leave it that way. I'm kinda strange like that though.

It is not that crazy because I have thought about doing a nice flat black paint job also I will probably end up painting it bright red, but you never know...

Gotta be Red. It looks cool in Black but black is so hard to get good pictures of.

Well it will always be #13, but "Blackdeath" was GT-X's name for the car. I have not decided what I want to name the car, I even thought about starting one of those often ridiculed "what should I name my car threads". Only the future will tell...
I am working on a special project that was inspired by Centexindy at the Red River Ruckus...I will hopefully get it done before christmas as a present to my car.

Also?? There has yet to be a fastback red choptop, homebrewed, Archie, or otherwise. The curse of the red car? Maybe chopped and Red would be over the top?

I disagree...my car started life as a coupe and now it's been converted to a fastback. As long as you use original parts and not that horrible PISA kit or some other method it counts.

Well, I have a factory sunroof on my '86 parts car but I don't feel good about cutting up my roof.
There's no cutting involved. Just remove the sunroof skin from the donor and put it on your car. The hardest part is peeling the old roof off with all that black gunk on there. If you do it in the summer in the hot Arizona sun it might be easier.

True, the donor skin will need to be trimmed a bit and the A pillars reshaped, but that's pretty easy. The point is that all Fiero space frames have the hole for the sunroof you don't have to cut the hole. You will also need a new headliner. Still I think it's worth it.

The one on the right was done in about an hour then I had to do the one on the left and the two fronts. All in all it took about 4 hours to clean them including removing and installing them.
