I didnt get a chance to talk to him at the show, but that whole car is unbelievable !
The vent looked like a standard warber-type, but he had the foresight to slope the side pieces about 10-15 degrees, and it makes a world of difference to the final appearance.
<best Homer> DOH ! why didnt I think of that.

Got it! http://www.v8archie.com/v8Archie/Prod7.htm Thanks for the replies. Daredevil05 did you or anyone here installed the DIY kit? It would probably be easier than molding the firebird scoops I have in my current hood. I'd be up for that rather than pay for the entire hood. My firebird scoops didn't require modifying the spare tire well as well. Marc

My scoop is the DIY kit from Archie. Click on my pics. It's not as bad as it looks, easy to install. It was my first time working with fiberglass and I was amazed at myself on how good it came out.

Hello Gokart..............yes it is the Warber hood vent.......I had that just put in along with the mustang rear deck lid just in time for the 25th show......I mean I picked it up just hours before leaving for the show. Just a word of caution, by body guy did the work but he rushed it all in a day and half. That didn't leave much time for the fiberglass to settle and cure which resulted in seeing the vent outline at certain angles. After the show I had the body guy redo it and this time he let it sit for a week to dry in his booth then preped it again and repainted. Now you can't see the outline at all. The above picture was taken at the SOFA London show with it redone and looking even better.
Gokart I was sitting at the 25th banquet table with you along with a bunch of other Canadian folks.
