fixing some large spots, adding support to underneath (green stuff = short strand fiberglass putty crapo)

Measuring up the foam for the armrest

Fit pic inside the car

Adding support 'glass for the 3 sets of 2 screws that will be holding this monster in place

hand sewing attempt at the smaller cushion cover (the top/back one) the larger bottom one I made was much nicer, test fit last pic:

For the first time today I went and looked back at your build thread on the Blue Devil. I don't know why I didn't look at it before. I just gotta say, awesome job! We've had our little moments of disagreement, but I give you a huge thumbs up on that job. Now when are you coming down to help me do an engine swap?

what... the Emblem didnt put out? (for those who dont know the inside joke....) when he found that emblem, it was like he won the lottery... he had that thing in his pocket (after he paid for it) the entire trip home, he would pull it out of his pocket and make comments like "I love my emblem" etc...

good, remember what I said... its a smaller one that the other one that was on there, but size doesnt matter....

(my build thread has the t-top stuff I did today also) ok, More Center console work... I went and cut it big time, I didnt like several things about it including the sides of where the cushions go, so heres some new sides being formed:

view after the tape was taken off, and a pic of the endcap of the t-top I had to modify

Joannes fabrics, 5 or 6 inches thick I believe is the thickest, its really soft and thick cushion foam and its like $50 a yard
they had a section that was about 6ft long and 5in thick when I got it, I ended up getting a precut scrap that was perfect for what I needed.
you might be able to get it cheaper at walmart - np about the ?'s

I'm learning alot about fiberglassing with the console, this is taking a long time to do but I have learned a ton of info from comments of other members to my own mistakes. I did some bondo the other day and Just got to sanding it this evening, using 40 grit sand paper stuck to my mouse sander I was able to sand 1/2 of it down before it got too dark to work:

Is it just me or does it still sit a bit lopsided? That last pic looks like it leans to the right a bit...

might be, even if its off... it wont be noticeable once the cushions are in and its installed... unless your looking directly through the windshield at it, you might notice
