Nah... that's next week. Besides... Okies are rolling in... and at least the president of AAFO is gracing us with his presence!
Too bad we won't have you, Don & Jane, Cliff, Tim, & JScott. Quite a few Ruckus regulars not being accounted for... Heck all of y'all are previous Ruckus organizers! But at least several others from LSF and Golden Triangle will be there... and some new Pennock's member's in the greater Lufkin area... such as it is.
I do appreciate NTFC's support of Texas shows... It speaks volumes and I think it is one of the reasons that our club remains close and active.
Moreover, I really appreciate all offers and help that I got when a post Ike alternative had to be quickly acted upon. There is work still yet to be done at the show though... I am going to need to draft some 'deputies' to help out with the Rodeo Games.

And yes, Jed, Daniel, Stephen and myself all have fantastic costumes we will be wearing on Saturday evening to dinner for our costume show... There may just be a really nice award for this as well so everyone should come prepared
We are leaving for Houston in a few minutes so I wouldn't be back online til after the event... call if you need anything.

I reckon I can catch you around 0930 in Arlington off 20- Bowen... and then we can meet Stephen at say E Palestine St exit and I-45 at the Whataburger there around 1000. It's on the right and easy to get on and off the freeway. Get a bite for the road... and then about 2-3 hours later stop for lunch in Crockett. Then take more twisty roads to Lufkin.
sounds good to me. cya...

Joe, Lisa, Maddie and I will drive up 59. Is there anywhere along 59 we can meet? If I can get Lisa out of bed I plan to leave at 6:30, so that means I need to tell Lisa we need to leave by 6 so I can make sure we get out of the house by 7.

We are planing on breakfast at the Burger King at 8:00am. Or Shipley's two blocks down the road. We will wait for you at the Burger King, its right on the service road there. Them guys aren't gonna be at the park at 900am. Just sounded good!!! It's only about one hour fifteen min's to Lufkin from there.
Hwy 190 and US 59 8:00am
Gas was $2.90 there yesterday when we came home from Houston.

I will do my best to make it there Saturday morning. I'm Fiero-less as of 8:00am this morning but I am assured that I will have my car back by COB today. Keep your fingers crossed that my Fiero makes it home.
Maybe I can hook up with the others leaving Saturday morning for Lufkin. At the very least I will be coming in my Expedition so I can bring a large ice chest for drinks if my Fiero doesn't make it home tonight.
FieroReinke and josef644 let me know where and when you're going to meet tomorrow morning. I'll be there either way. I'll be coming from the Galleria area.

I will be leaving the Pearland area around 6-6:30 Saturday Morning. If you like we can meet up along 59. I assume you will take the beltway around?
I can jump on the tollway then head north on 59. Where do you want to meet and at what time? Just let me know and I will pop it into my GPS. I was hoping to leave here at 6:30ish more on the ish side...

Sorry Cliff (and everyone else it may disappoint), but there will not be shirts. Between planning the event, making the design, and turn around time at the shirt makers there just isn't time to get them done. Not to mention we are trying to keep event costs down to help with attendance so we didn't want to ask an additional $15 per person for shirts, and we didn't want to end up with tons of left overs if people didn't want all the shirts. However, there will be dash plaques available to commemorate (sp?) the event at a very reasonable price. I don't want to ruin the surprise, but I think you all will love them
Just a thought....could we have post event shirts? I was looking im my closet at my collection of Rukus shirts and it would be a shame if this years was missed. This way, you could get the pre-orders and thus not be left with left overs.
Whatcha think?

Ya should a been there J. We all had a good time. A Fiero Rodeo. Slow drags, 100 mile cruise and lots of good fellowship and food. Saw Blake almost get arrested and get a gun pulled on him for trying to take a picture. Go Figure!!! I'll let him tell this story to all the folks that couldn't make it this time. He won the "PO-PO" award big time hands down. Poe was real quiet, for a change. We just pulled in . I'm gonna unload my car. I only averaged 39 MPG this trip. Some-um's gotta be wrong with my car!!!! HaHa
