Rob, Haven't seen you in quite a while, the Rat is lookin good. We need to get together befor summer is over.
Thanks,
Due to family issues I haven't been real active here or with the Fieros in general. My daughter is getting married the beginning of the month and Elvira is still ill. We finally located a specialist so hopefully things will get better soon. That and some vender issues - but that's another story in itself. Hope to see everyone before the summers out. I've pretty much put the project on the back burner till everything settles down.

Well, I got a little bit of good news today. I mentioned that I had some vendor issues in my post above. I just wanted to clarify that it WASN'T a Fiero vendor. I'm doing a tail light mod that will be a little different (for now, hell someone might do it before I get done with it the way things are going ). I ran into a problem where I ordered the lenses over 2 months ago, took the vendor forever to ship them then, as my luck would have it, FedEx lost the package. Of course the vendor wouldn't send me another set till they got the money from the FedEx claim. Needless to say that the box came in today and I couldn't be happier with the lights. I'm not going to divulge the mod for now...that will be a surprise. And no, thier not Altezza's.

I just found this thread so I do hope your family is doing well first. Then to be callus I want to ask, which may have been answered before, but where do you stow your targa top if you are on the road? I only looked at the pix and you have my blessing and approval to continue. Very nice.
*bump* Galen EDIT: spelling ------------------ Make it FAST or don't make it

Well the original intention was to have a collapsible soft top that I could carry with me in case of rain but that hasn't been panning out. What I plan on doing, since I can't modify my trunk to slide it in there because of the N20 bottle is to make a removable carrier that clips to the rear deck lid and allows me to strap the targa section down. I was thinking of using parts of a luggage rack. I still have hopes of getting the soft top but at this point I'm not holding my breath.

ok maybe thats a little ghetto. is it possible to make the original roof section fold in half to store? it would make fitment issues... you'd just have to hinge it in the middle.
Just a bump for the newbies and to keep this thread alive. Chester Hope all is well with the family health issues, can't wait to see you back working on the Rat !
