Looking good. Cant wait too see that dash when ready. I am going for the firebird dash later on but in the meantime I am installing 6x9 speaker in my original dash. You said it was done on yours but they did not take any pictures of the mod. I have and will post them in a new tread next week when I am 100% done with that mod. You cant see anything on the outside but there are a lot of work too get them in on the inside!!!

Hey Curly here is that elusive picture that you were surprised had never been captured,..a female behind the wheel of #15. This was at the end of Daytona on Sunday, when you let lady B (Brigida i think ?) take it for a spin.

Not finished yet. Car is now located in new shop awaiting completion of dash. I may need a Snickers bar...hmm? Currently I'm working on next project tring to figure-out what type of blacked-out rims to use.

Where does this guy get all his creativity ??? He can look at a piece of junk and figure out a way to tweek it and use it on his car, that looks better than most aftermarket stuff you or i can buy right off the shelf. It is sickening,..hehehehe actually depressing ! I know i certianly do not have this gift. [This message has been edited by exoticse (edited 07-07-2005).]

Yes and No. He told me but at the moment it skips my mind. Madcurl can give you the proper answer when he gets a chance. He basically found a busted up bumper with a body kit installed at either a junk yard or tossed in the trash at his bodyshop, i forget which one, and saw the opportunity to glass it back together, reshape it, and create a custom rear diffuser. Just yet another great idea.

Bump. Because---Good threads should never die. I got the difuser from a newer Honda Civic 2003? I have another one from a Ford Escort too which has better vents. In any case, I'm going to just mold-in the part using ribbets first then, later fiberglass material. The pics were just a simple mock-up. Update #15: Picking up #15 next month. Driving the V8 bubble-top is nice but, I need to get started on the front-end flaring. [This message has been edited by madcurl (edited 07-15-2005).]

Look for some big rims and tires on this puppy ! Oh yeah it's got a little something under the decklid too, to justify that new stopping power.
No unfortunatly it's not mine, and no it's not the fiero redux ,.............just posting for a friend. This car is going to be wicked ! |

Hi all,
Is the brake mod a mod of the held system, to get the 13 inch rotor??

Sorry. I had salad that daym hehe. The 13" Corvette brakes are from Design 1 Systems in OKC. They are from the Z06 but I wanted the 13's on all fours. I seen a Z06 last Sunday and the rear brakes looked strange to me.

Hi all, This is good news indeed! What other mods do you have on the suspension?? edit: Design 1 needs to update their site, cuz I saw no listing for this brake conversion... I was curious as to how much it might be.... [This message has been edited by pavo_roddy (edited 07-18-2005).]

Nothing. It's all OEM. No need for drop springs, coil-overs, or special upper arms using 19/20 combos. Just put them on...and roll. I do have polys on corners but thats it.

Update: Viper Red VDC kit. Doors are installed and dash with 4-6 pics. I'll send more later. The VDC kit is painted Viper red. I sent the pics to Tony. If he has time, he might post them? Enjoy.

In one of the pics, the lower VDC strut mount pushes the wheel well liner foward. Do they end up staying that way? Is it an issue once the fenders are reinstalled?

hmm. I will ask them about that. I noticed it too. Not a issue on #11.
Update: from Kelly [Quote] "Jerry has it all apart AGAIN!! to fix the area for the filp screen area. I'll send more pic's when he puts the parts back in." Kelly [quote] Appearently the DVD screen was touching the under side of the center vents when fully extended.

are you going to take the aero piece off the door? i imagine you already have something planned but i think some of the fierowarehouse (i think they might be from the imsa widebody kit) front fenders would look great! oh yeah, it looks really good

id keep the front fender the stock front width, make it look like it's muscular car ad giving it a total mean look, similar to a 575, instead of a WRX look of all 4 wheel wells flared.

I think curly has already decided to flare the front as well. Should look good. It will tuck those wide front wheels in quite nicely.
