Seeing as he had to make the tank a little smaller to accomodate the filters and pump, I think he said it has an 8.5 gal tank,
and he gets about 12mpg if he drives it nice...so probably about 100 miles....

I enjoyed talking to Tracy at the show. Very cool guy. And he built quite a monster.

Who painted Tracy's car? Looks like they did a good job and I will eventually need paint job in Central Florida.

I was lucky enough to talk with John Callies and my showed him my car before he looked any over. I then dragged him over to Tracy's and he was amazed. Here he is taking a few pictures of the car. I guess Hulki got all excited over it also saying" I knew it would be done" and sat in the car. Rick B

Tracy told me about the above picture....and he's very happy with the reception he and his car received at the show.
Dragon - Gary Bulpin painted the car:

probably less, as he had to cut the gas tank down about 6 inches, so it is probably only an 8.5 gal tank now.....

if he gets 12 MPG I would like to know where I went wrong. My 454 fiero only gets like 6 with out a blower. as for the gas tank I can only get about 8 gallons in my 84 tank. I thought that was the normal size.

I guess there is no need to upgrade to a 88 tank. I wonder why it seems like i can only get 8 gallons in the car at most. maybe I should just let it run out of fuel all together to see what happens. I def need to straighten out my fuel curve cause i thought I should get more like 12 mpg. That car is everything I want my car to be. an a blower kit really isnt all that much money. 3 g's an a instant 300 extra ponies sounds pretty resonable. He has to be making more then 750 hp. hell just a 3000 rebuild will put u in the 500 hp range if not more. that really is a nice car man. Maybe i should go the way of the turbo. a twin turbo 454 fiero. that is a thought but it would cost alot more probably for a turbo set up. all well what a dream. my cars pretty ballsy i would love to know what that car feels like.

It has to do with the baffle inside and the way the tank is built. Nothing to worry about
