So, I'm driving home from work almost in tears (it's been a really bad couple of months) Work treats us carriers like we are pond scum, I get a letter from the post master stating there's another manditory mail count in Feb (which means with the lower mail volume I get to take another pay cut) It's Christmas and I love to spoil people, but given the circumstances, I can't and that's really bothering me. Anyway, I'm thinking to myself, maybe I'd be better off it someone just plowed into me right now. Everyone would be taken care of and I wouldn't have to worry anymore.
Then I get home, I open the mail box and there's a card from Dave B (I'm not going to put your last name here) and I knew right away it was from DL10, and I see another card addressed to me with a hello kitty sticker on it. I had a clue who sent that card and when I opened it and saw penguins I knew that it was from Aurora. She wrote a nice note and wished me a Merry Christmas. I opened DL10's card, and there's a Fiero pin attached to it and a message from him (it was one of those cards you can record something on) thanking me. Of course, I'm standing in the kitchen bawling my eyes out by now thinking how lucky I am, and how good it feels to be appreciated. It's the little things that matter, everything else will fall into place.
So, I guess I just want to thank you all for thinking of me and thanking me. I do love to do this, and it's so nice to "meet" new people and be appreciated. It's funny how people you've never met can mean so much to you. You all mean the world to me and I do have a special place in my heart for you all!!
God, I can be such a chick at times..........
Thank you guys, you really don't know how much it means to me. Now if I would only stop bawling like a baby, I'd be doing okay. lol
"HUGS"
Dar

I opened my mailbox today and there was a gift from Electrathon.
SOCKS!!! I think socks are the best gift in the world! There's nothing like the feel on putting a new pair of socks on your feet and walking around in them. Screw the jewelery, give me socks!! lol
Thank you so much Aaron!!!

Santa has been to Zionsville early! Many thanks to my benefactor for the HandyDandy flashlight/emergency charger and the NOS ashtrays! I was actually going to add some of these to my next Fiero Store order to replace my nasty ones.
Got mine today from a cemetery in Bainbridge NY...I wonder who could have sent it
Thanks for the BigRed88 gum, and the fierostore gift certificate. The $25 gc will work wonders on getting my door lock parts or new ultimate dogbone...Haven't decided yet

You guys are killing me, would you please stop??? I received another gift from DtheC. He sent me some cheese!
Thank you Dave!!!
But you know guys, I don't do this to get gifts. I do it because I like to. You're making me feel bad. Don't get me wrong, it's really nice to get gifts, oh hell.....I don't know.
I guess I'm just better at giving than receiving.
Thanks again Dan, Dave, Aurora, Aaron and Dave!!

we arn't doing it to get anything in return. we are doing it to show you we appriciate all the work you have done to put this together.
Aurora!
I know, sometimes it makes me feel a bit ackward, taking things from people without giving is very hard for me. I'm usually the one doing the giving. Thank you all for the sentiment!!! I do love you!!

Nothing yet- but the mule the local delivery person rides upon has been very ill lately, (The Pony Regress) and both the mule and the rider are actually much older than I am. Takes a long time each morning for the mule to get his coffee down and the rider to eat his oatmeal.
