Greetings from old San Antonio, It is back by popular demand; ROUND-UP XII is set for APRIL 25 & 26, 2009. That’s a Saturday all day and Sunday AM breakfast. The weather will be nice and let’s face it we all need a little R & R. These dates are firm and hopefully presented in time for all of the AAFOers and our old friends and new ones to make it here. We heard what you are saying April is great weather and traveling time, so again, looking forward to seeing all you in San Antonio. First pitcher of “ritas” is on me.

Okay now I have a reason to warm up the garage and finish what I need to do in there.

Yeah those dates are good for me too, luckily my drill is the weekend before. I am really looking forward too seeing all my out of town friends, last year I was not able to make it to a lot of events because of my baby, but he is now 18 months old and is a little bit more easier to deal with. Look forward too seeing you all soon. If anyone needs anything and I can be of help dont hesitate to ask. My e-mail is gtojudd81@yahoo.com That is checked much more often than Pennocks
See ya soon Justin

Thats great, heard from Revin and he is going to be here. The North Texas group are allways strong, expecting to hear from them soon. My Computer crashed and I lost all my addresses and phone numbers. Please send me any info you dont mind sharing, phones, addresses and e-mails. New computer and so far so good
Ellen and I are planning to come with the new 4.9 car. Ellie's old '88.
Didn't make the January meeting but volunteered to Robert to put together the cruise route. If there are no objections we'll hit the Oasis restaurant on Lake Medina for dinner Saturday.

If I still have the XTC, I might be able to head down. I have yet to go to a fiero meeting. I think it is about time.
I have a dilema....Which one do I bring.......Maybe both.........I love having more than one Fiero. If one is broke, I still have one to drive.... Or is that - if I have one to drive, I am working on the other. Oh no. I just had a scary thought - what if I had to work on both at the same time? Guess I better get a 3rd....lol

OK - I so want to make this event.... I am going to call my client and see if we can re-schedule the shoot that is planned for that weekend to the one before or after. I haven't seen so many of y'all in so long that it may very well feel like it did at my first event I showed up to where I didn't know anyone.

You rang?
Mike! Glad to see an announcement so early! That really helps in vacation planning... (they start bidding 1 year in advance...)
I will plan on coming (if the vacation schedule is not full!), and will pass the word to NTFC members that do not participate on PFF. That 4th weekend is our normal monthly club meeting, but going to a regional event always trumps the meeting IMO. That is such a great time frame in Texas... Wildflowers in full show!
Also, if you boys down South want to get your Fiero itch scratched a little sooner, NTFC will be planning Spring Fling IV this year in Greenville. (MstangsBware)... it is just pretty much an all day meeting/cruise/meal(s)... No thread on it yet... just an FYI plug here!

Robert has started working on all the hotel/show-N-shine/breakfast plans and Scott Anderson has started on the the cruise. I wanted to get the date out fast, lock it down and the details will fall in place. Our number one objective was to get it back to April because so many wanted it that way again and I agree 100%. We, A.A.F.O., strive to make the Round-Up special every year. So lets get it on and plan on being there, it will be a blast, better than the past .
Thanks,

Hey, It is always neat to see someone’s ideas become a modification to their Fiero. It still amazes me that this vehicle is now 25 years old and still looks so modern. The Fiero was really ahead of its time. Maybe if GM would have hung in there with it they could have has some real success with the Fiero. A convertible, an electric, a hybrid, it goes on and on. Keep on modifying.

Yeah electric sure sounds nice right now, I'd like to do an all wheel drive Fiero. One motor for each wheel, now if only I had the brains to design and build it. Oh well, all of us Rogers are looking forward to see you all again. For all you out of towners if will be your first time meeting my Son. He is 18 months now and getting bigger and smarter every day. Can't wait to see you all.

I'm there also. No Fiero this time, though. My Fiero is broken and even if it is repaired by then, my wife and I will be coming in my Suburban. My wife's son is stationed at Ft. Sam. We will be using this opportunity to both visit with him and attend some of the Fiero festivities. So, we will need a multi-seat vehicle.
BTW - the first pitcher of margaritas at Taco Bueno is on me Friday night.

What kind of details are you looking for. Traditionally Friday night is just a friendly meet and great at Taco Cabana and a few drinks. Saturday has always been a show and shine car show and gathering for all of us to look at each others car, ask questions etc. followed by a cruise to our dinner location. And Sunday morning breakfast and plaques handed out then the good-bye's until the next even. I hope thing helps you out. If you have any specific question please let us know.
Be assured this is going to be a happening. Details are under way. The date is locked down and that is all we needed to get it on. So hang tight there in Pflugerville because you are the number one Pfluger.

Thanks to Mike for starting the thread. I am currently working on getting the hotel squared away, expect it to be firm by the end of the week. Event location is still pending, but that detail is just a minor one, we can all have fun no matter where we end up parking our rides!
Also rolling ideas around in ma head for the T-Shirts, so details we be coming soon with those as well.
Hang in there all....we are on the case.......

It's been too long not having a running Fiero, but you can bet I'll still be at the Roundup!!! Any more AAFO locals out there that are planning to come???
I would love to make this, but Lisa and I are heavy in our debt elimination plan that we started at the beginning of the year and I dont want to interrupt that. If I can work it into the budget I will let you all know. Good luck with the planning and with the event.

I'm down here in the Rio Grande Valley. Just bought mine today. I'd be glad to come to the round up. Heard about it for years. Now I have a Fiero that will actually make the run
