Been working on the Formula - going through all the little things that needed attention and I am happy to report that she is ready for the trip. Just got to get some new shoes next weekend. Sent my registration in Thursday and got the time scheduled off. Can't wait to meet up with some Fiero folks. We have a small loose knit group out here in Far West TX. We try to get together once in awhile for a run and a meal but we never get more than 4 or 5 together at one time. Here we come SA!

Looks like I am out this year. Unless a few things shake in the right direction. Pat, If the Formula isn't up to it, the Short Bus would be happy to fill in for it. Keys are in it.......

I scoped out a cruise route this week. We'll be taking some back roads out to Bandera with a little detour on some twisties to Lake Medina. Also found a good place to eat in Bandera - Brick's Riverfront Cafe
Great to hear from you Joel, you will always be a part of AAFO. Thanks for the good wishes, maybe drop in on us sometime. I take it the folks are still here in Boerne.
Robert, it would be great, I was concerned how tired the out of towners would be after their drive. You know the Taco Cabana is crawling distance from the Red Roof Inn! The food is great at Biffs Burger, but it fills up fast, both the food and the parking lot. I am open for it and will provide location information if people want to meet there instead or as well as the Taco Cabana. Just let me know. I have to be at the Taco Cabano, first RED RITAS are on me.

March 25th and 26th are on a Wednesday and Thursday respectively. April is a different story. If only we had adopted a 28 day month calendar we wouldn't have this problem...but then every month would have a Friday the 13th

yep, the Kerville Ruckus shirts were the cat's meow. Nice quality, and my colors haven't faded yet... (and I do use the pocket! )

Thanks Blake. Those actually were not the colors I was speaking of. I was speaking of the actual shirt color. Background color. FYI ! My shirt vendor quoted me a price for the basic, buying the shirts from them. Some wanted a different background color. Easy. I went to Wal-Mart and filled the order for all the different colors. One stop. Then, I dropped them off at the print shop. Presto, done. A little extra effort on my part but, I do consider the T shirts to be the event trophy. No matter who wins first place in show, etc. Actually, while I was at Wall World, I picked up a children's blouse for CenTexIndy's daughter and had the same logo printed on it. No extra charge. So, I took an aged Levi jacket that I had, and had the logo screen shot (?) on it too. No extra charge. I did pay extra for the pocket on the print shop bulk order. Well worth a dollar ! Bulk background colors, now that would be cost prohibitive. Thinking about it, I might have charged extra for me to go get the different color background shirts. No matter, I did spend more than I recovered. Which was my pleasure. I did not expect to host a party and not spend a little.

I think it was a dollar. Pretty sure it was. Another idea that I have. I paid to make at least three screens for the printing of the shirt. That was where a lot of the costs were. I should have asked to keep them.

So we had our last monthly meeting before the show on Sunday, and we have some facts to pass on to you all. A location has been finalized and it is.............. Going to be at the Pep Boys at loop 410 and Marbach, just on the other side of the highway from where we usually meet on Sunday morning. Rob never got a response back from the Pontiac dealer. They surely have a lot going on. But from what I have heard Pep Boys is very excited about having us. Rob did say at the meeting that he only has about 8 registrations, so with that said if you have not mailed your registration is, please do so ASAP!!! We need the numbers to properly order the correct number and size of the t-shirts and also so we know how many plaques to have on the ready. I look forward to seeing you all soon, if anyone has questions please feel free to ask

Sorry, we have been out of town, death in family. I was actualy up in Mesquite outside Dallas and in East Texas. We were in Emory, a little town outside Wills Point, close to Canton. T-Shirts are Robert's "thing" and he allways does a great job. Well I like the pockets, but sometimes the cost is a consideration. I liked your leather hat as well Cliff!
I am trying to catch up with Robert as I was unable to attend the AAFO meeting Sunday. Will post as soon as caught up on information. Come on Don, closing takes a half day, lets make it happen...Captain! Hope everyone gets to comeand help make this a great ROUND-UP XII.
