Just got an email from Dave (or "The Ogre" as he is known here). Apparently he had a stroke last november and he's still recuperating.

Hope it's not a baaaad one. None of em' are "good" but you know what I mean. There's some that are worse than others. Depends on what type you have and how severe. Hope your's was minor and you have a complete recovery with no lasting symptoms you have to learn to live with. Did they have to do any type surgery on you? Is your mobility affected? At any rate, there'll be healing heading your way. Take all you can get and again, hope you have a complete return to normal, in very short order.
Keep us posted on your progress.
