You've been a permanent fixture on this forum for quite some time and have helped many. The effects of a stroke can take a while to diminish but all you can do is try and eat correctly, watch your weight and work the therapy. Hope to see you at Carlisle this Saturday and hope that you are up to making the trip.

I've been on this forum for 10 years and you've been helping me and others at least that long (probably longer)...
Ten years...I don't really know what to say other than just get better.
Obviously your situation hasn't diminished your desire to help your fellow man. Nuff said.

Dave:
If you haven't already, look up Jill Bolte Taylor, a brain surgeon who had a stroke and wrote a book called "My Stroke of Insight" Took her 8 years to come back. My wife has put in nearly 4 since hers, she lost her whole right side. She can walk with a cane, nothing in the arm yet, it's not an easy road back, and some never make it all the way. But I don't have to tell you, "If you quit, you're done." Stay with it man. Keep looking UP. Another one I like: "Dont expect God to guide your footsteps, if you're not willing to move your feet." Not trying to "preach" to ya, just passing on some of the stuff we've come across during our trials and tribulations.
Take care and stay with it!
HAGO!

Keep working hard on your recovery. Easier said than done, I know, but there are still lots of Fieros out there that need your help.
