I'm definitely in for round 2........I want one that is personalized with DL10 instead of a tracking #. Well my first coin has been found by a geocacher and has started it's journey. I wonder how long it will move on before it comes up missing. Follow it's travel along with the 2 Fiero TB's I have out at http://www.geocaching.com/t...24-99a5-52af9c4ad5e5

topcat1 won the auction with a winning bid of $77.99. All but the $13 that it cost me will be donated to Cliff to keep the forum on-line. He should be congratulated.
If you made the alternate list you have received a pm.
If you did not receive a pm or you were one of my non-payers from the first round you will still be able to get a coin(s) but it will be from the next round of production provided that you send your funding before the deadline next time. There will be no alternates and no extra coins for all future orders.

Hopefully Thursday if everyone on the list sends me their funds.
Btw, if anyone has a Pantone color deck that they could part with I would really appreciate it. I want to be able to choose colors as precisely as possible and the only way to do it is with a color deck. There is a color chart on the internet but when I look at them on my laptop they look different than they do on my desktop. They also look different on paper.
I hope to have received payment no later than noon on Thursday and get them sent out that afternoon. After that it is in the hands of the US Postal Service.
The coins are all gone now. I had originally ordered 12 for myself but I have given away or sold all but 2 of them. - I'm keeping one and geocaching the other to Cliff.
We can order more coins so don't feel too terrible (and please don't "-" me) if you didn't get in this time. I will post new thread as soon as I get these mailed out.
Keeping track of all of the names, tracking numbers, coin quantity, and money is very difficult. I want to be accurate about it so please wait to post your requests for new coins in the new thread when I post it later this week. Please do not post new requests in this thread. I will provide a link to the new thread when it is active.
Thanks everybody.
Kenton

Just wanted to jump on here and say, how awesome I think these are. I received one as a gift from my father, and didn't quite understand what it was but was completely blown away by the craftmanship involved. So a big thanks to dad for the wonderful gift and an even bigger thanks to Race and the forum for developing the idea.
Take care, Wilson

The next round could look very different. We will be using the same dies so that will knock almost $200 off of the cost of the order. We can either create a coin with more expensive metals or we could use more costly colors that have a metallic or soft cloisonne look.
Congrats topcat1! I was the top bidder for a very long time and am glad that the price went so high to support this fantastic website, and Kenton's awesome geocoin project. I can't wait to get my round 2 coins when they're produced...

Btw, I am not going to insure the coins this time. I can cover the cost of a single coin if it gets lost in the mail. It is a risk that I am going to take.

You are awesome! I have looked around here and they use a different deck. PM sent.
Btw, Our auction winner's package went out today along with another. I went to Office Depot to buy new shipping envelopes and the rest of the paid for coins will go out tomorrow. The 5 unpaid for coins will ship upon receipt of payment or I will keep them.
$65 has been sent to Cliff Pennock for forum maintenance.
John M. H. You didn't include your screen name with your payment. If its you reading this replylet me know who you are here so that I can check you off of the list of screen names. I Keep track of the list using screen names and don't know sir names or addresses until I get the payment usually.
Paypal was sent today for final payment let me know for shipping THX
Dan
I sent it out yesterday afternoon. (June 2) I trust you. I just had to get home from my trip to physically mail it.
Aus, that was pretty fast. Thanks for letting me know that you got it. Btw, your coin has the mileage record so far for longest distance traveled.
Register it by becoming a member of www.geocaching.com (It is free). Then go to the Trackable Items link on the left side of the homepage and follow the directions. It 's so easy even a caveman could do it.
