Waiting for pics... I think I like it, but not sure. It should look better lower like that, but I'm still not sure if it isn't too far back. One of the beautiful things about the mod Rick did is that the wing doesn't protrude past the rear bumper, and all of the lines flow with the rest of the car perfectly. Pics with everything in primer or paint might help also.
Thanks for keeping us updated.
I like the idea of molding the stands into the wing.

Here are the latest updates on the wing stands. Going with square stands instead of rounded. I think it looks more aggressive and fits the lines of the Fiero better.
Soon we will have a finished product to show off.
This mod will definitely give a different look to your Fiero!

The prototype was been completed, but then found out that it was too low by about 1/4". The wing would hit the decklid on bumps so it has to be reworked a little bit.
We expect this product to be finished and on the market in a couple weeks where we will take a first order of production.
Would it be possible to tilt the wing forward a bit? It looks laid back. If the bottom edge of the wing were parallel with the ground it would look much better in my eyes. Just a suggestion.
Also, will the stands be solid or hollow?

The goal is to have the bottom edge of the wing on the sides parallel as you suggest.
I am pretty sure the stands will be solid, not hollow.

That's good news, I think it'll look better parallel, and if the stands are solid I might be able to shape them round like the first set. I really don't like the square stands, they don't fit the body lines at all IMO. I still think it might be too far back, but I'd have to see some pics from further away. Thanks for listening to the suggestions.

Would making it fit stock gaskets make the stands too large?
Because the stands are much Longer than the original stands, custom gaskets are made and supplied with each set. There is no way to use stock gaskets even if we made the front the same shape as the stock stands.
If you could just tilt the back of the wing up just a hair I think you may of hit gold with it. If you can tilt the backside of the wing up I'll buy a set no problem
Right now I think it looks better on the notchback than the fastback. My complaints on the fastback are that it is square and sits back to far. Luckily those are easy fixes, but it would be great if you can have multiple places to mount the rear stud so buyers have a little more a choice on the position without having to modify the underside of the decklid.

We will have 5 sets available immediately. Price is $80 + $12 shipping anywhere in the continental USA. I will start a new thread in the mall to sell these.
When the first 5 are gone production will begin on the second set of 5, or more.
Thank you all for your input, questions and suggestions throughout the development of this project.
Without further ado, here are the finished pictures of the first final production run model. If you have any specific angles you'd like to see, don't hesitate to ask.

I think it looks perfect on the notchback, square and all. The notchy's are square-ish so it matches. But... fastback? Does it look exactly as posted above with the pre-production set? I notice you used those pics for the fastback in The Mall.
Can I sand the square-ness off to make them round without destroying them?
