There have been a few threads on here lately about RideZiLightning's business practice lately but I decided to start a new thread with this title so as to catch the readers' eye so hopefully this doesnt happen again to any of us here.

Most of you probably know about the seat cover fiasco a few years ago, then back in September of this year he started a thread in the mall parting out a Fiero, many people sent him money and it looks like few if any actually received the parts they paid for. At least one person on there had a claim against him and escalated it to a dispute, but his account was wiped clean.

Well, I paid him for a part I was looking for (I started the WTB: thread and he responded it ME) a while ago, he BSed me a little bit in PMs, then I never heard from him again. After a month or so of no contact through PMs or Emails I started a claim. Still didnt hear from him, 3 weeks later I escalated it to a dispute. Which brings me to today, I got an email from Paypal saying they decided in my favor and a whopping $5.45 was recovered from his account! Hopefully that money was not in there from some other poor sap that paid for something they will never see.

I AM FOREWARNING ALL MEMBERS HERE BECAUSE I CARE ABOUT YOU DONT GIVE THIS GUY YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY!!!!!

Don't know anything about this or his username, but just thought I'd pass on that "Ride the thunder" is an old phrase relating to something that mysteriously, unexpectedly, or inexplicably disappears without a trace.
Thunder--Lightning.
Coincidence?

"Ride the lightning" is also slang for being put to death in the electric chair. IIRC it was used in the movie "The Green Mile" as well.

Actually, the band's name was Metallica. Don't ever desecrate that band again.

I'm Glad you got some money back. I hate when things degenerate to this point, and as for Metallica maybe he doesn't like em. I personally dislike the band and find their musical ability a tad shy of ok at best. Don't assume that commercial success = talent some of the best musicians in the world are totally unknown.
