I picked these up today off of a 92 Grand Prix GTP. These hood vents came with an inner metal screen and a black metal plate. Has anyone ever installed these on a Fiero? Pics? Thanks, Kit

Idk, but they would look really cool glassed into a mustang scoop on the decklid. Too skinny for the hood imho. Edit: that black car is sexy! Guess they do look good. [This message has been edited by Fiero1K (edited 01-23-2010).]

Thank you for the link and the pic! Funny thing....as soon as I got them home from the Pick-N-Pull I laid then down on top of my 85 GT hood (to see how they would look) in the exact same place that he installed his. I just love the louvered vent look. Thanks again! Kit

They are vented.... In fact, they come with inner screens and black metal backing plates that bolt inside the hood area. Well, at least that was how they were installed in this Grand Prix.
I'm debating on whether or not I will install the screens underneath though because when you get leaves inside the louvers it would be difficult to get them out between the louvers and the screen.

Mine are functional. Just not on the front hood of a Fiero. The problem is they let rain and water in when washed. I have a patch on the underside to stop this.

This is my hood. Your right thats the 1st place I set them down to. It just seemed to be the natural spot.

I'm debating using the same louvers on mine. The mclaren grand prix I'm using for an engine swap has them. If the hood from the car doesn't sell that is.

DefEddie - I have a pair of those vents lying around in my garage i'd let you have relatively cheap if you sell the hood....
