How do you pronounce "Getrag"? Jet-rag? Jet-rad? Gett-rag?

Just wondering.

Ga - trag is what I was taught is correct. However most of the time I say "get rag" as two words.

I think "Ge- trag" is more accurate.

To be completely accurate you would need to say it with a German accent which almost no one in North America does.

Getrag (pronounced guh-TRAG) is a leading manufacturer of automobile manual transmissions. The company was founded on 1 May 1935 in Ludwigsburg, Germany by Hermann Hagenmeyer as the Getriebe- und Zahnradfabrik Hermann Hagenmeyer AG. Today, the company is allied with Dana Corporation and the European Ford Motor Company but supplies transmissions to most auto manufacturers including General Motors, DaimlerChrysler, BMW MINI and Toyota. Chief competitors include Aisin and ZF.

I remember hearing it proounced on youtube but I cannot find the video. They were talking about the transmission. The guy had either a British accent or German and he pronounced it "jet-traug".
