I am busting my but on my DD to get it ready for the show. I hope I can get it done in time. I hope to see you all their. D.
Daytona is south of you so just release your handbrake and coast downhill to the show. Now getting back home might be a problem. Hope you can make it as it would be nice to break an attendance record.

LOL! it runs it just has 1/2 of the body on it and no lights. I am sure it will be down to the last days before the show to be done. or at least to the point I can take it to the show. D.
Mr. Mike says my seats are making progress, too bad they will arrive in one of the coldest times... That's the easy part... however, I still need to tear the top off down on the engine and powder coat to match the suspension and exterior paint. I think part of the countdown keeps me motivated!

Na, I thought about getting one, even saw a nice engraved one like I have in the mall for sale for a good price, but I figured a good weekend I would be down, nothing major I don't "plan".
I think I will go up and take a look at all the Fiero's . I would like to take the Formula I am working on but dont know if I will have it up on the road.
Here is a reason why I am looking forward to Daytona---
Miami is 30* below normal. As you can see, it will be getting back to "normal" by next week. What you can't see is this is the end of below temps for the last 1 1/2 weeks.
Of course it still beats living in the snow belt.

We're looking forward to a warm Daytona too. It's 5:00 p.m. right now and the temperature is 30.4 degrees here in RI. Who would ever think that RI and Miami would ever have a similar temperature in January.
18" x 8" Original Roja's, 225-40-ZR18's up front, 265-35-ZR18's rears, Aerospeed adjustable coil-overs, KYB shocks, dropped 2"+, K&N filters, Holley side scoop, upgraded front & rear sway bars with poly, fully loaded, original paint!...and dreaming of a fierce 3800SC swap!

We (Dan Wilkinson, Kris Munson and myself) at fireofiberglass.com, will be giving away a set of side scoops this year like we did last year. This year however, you will need to come see us at our tent. Everyone who stops by the tent will receive 1 ticket. No tickets will be sold. Everyone will have the same odds of winning. 1 ticket per person.
Winner will get their choice of which style side scoops they would like to have.
Last years winner was IIKool

Hmmm I just found out that its cheaper to drive from Long Island to Dc, get on the auto train to orlando... then it is to fly down and use a rental. I just might be able to get down there with my 88gt!

Best check with auto train - your car may be too low to get on the train. They want something like 4 1/2 to 5" ground clearance. But why take the train, just drive down like I do every year.
You might want to check the fares again - I just went to the AmTrac web site and the fare was around $150 each way BUT the vehicle fare was $420

The last Daytona car show I was able to go to was the one in 2000... haha... I won 3rd place in stock class for best "SE". My car was pretty decent looking, but I have a feeling I won in part because I had the only 87 SE there...
I remember there was something like almost 100 Fieros there...
There was even two F355 cars... one was a real F355 and one was a Fiero rebody, and I literally COULD NOT tell the difference between the two.
