I for one would like to let everyone know that it IS a beautiful night to sit in the tent. Who cares that is around 58° right now and dipping as low as 50° by morning. Sure I'm a cheap ass but camping is great. Did you know that camping in OK uses an honor system? Park's open all night and you just drive in set up and camp. I guess if you see the park ranger then you pay him... If you don't... What can you do? So by 8am if he doesn't show up... I'm gone.
Oh yeah had a great time today and so did Kaydence. Desere <sp> helped bring Kaydence out of her shell. I still can't believe they were swimming and playing in the frigid water of the river. Got many pictures but being after midnight it's time for bed. G'night ALL!!!

Just got up and about to head to the lodge for Breakfast. Then back to the tent to pack up. We're loving this! Woke up checked the temp... 43° tad bit nippy, but still great. Oh yeah still haven't seen the money collector guy to give him my $24 in camping fees. Got tons of pictures just need to resize them for posting.

Be gld you did not stop at Winstar... food... not that great.
I wish you had reminded me to mention your Stu-wipes, I think I saw a few cars with a need for them, and that group of people would love to support one of their own.
I am starting a pic thread,... would you mind posting your pics there?... I hate burying event photo's 6-7 pages deep... it makes people that just pop-in to see the pics get some instant gratification. (like me )

(will edit this line with a link when I start the Photo Thread)
Looked like the Winstar was pretty damn packed also when I passed by. I made it home with no issues and have to say I had a GREAT TIME....That area of OK is something everyone should go check out at some time. I plan on making the trip back there in a few weeks with the family so they can check it all out....Thanks to Tom and the OK group for hosting the show and making it a good one........

Ha Ha you saying you're glad I made it home Ok.... Where'd you get that idea from my just woke up in the TENT post? I posted that this morning when I woke up and didn't want to climb out of the sleeping bag. But yeah we made it home fine too. WOW 179 photos taken over the weekend. But then again I snap away so there may be 50 keepers in there somewhere.

I passed by the casino at about 6:30AM and even that early the parking lot had quite a few cars. I guess it`s either all-nighters or early gamblers. Good to see everyone again. Great time. Mike

The SA couples made it home by 6pm Sunday, confirmed with Darkwing that his return was accomplished. Elida, Desirae had a really good time, especially Des and her new friend Kaydence. Des said it was nice having another "kid" there for her to relate to. We all really loved the scenery and especially Turner Falls and the whole fam would like to try that water hole when the outside temp is at least in the 90s. The event was great and one to remember. Excellent event!

Yes Cliff, we just moved to Florida. My car was still here so I flew over and drove up from SA. Had a great time and plan to make it to Ruckus 10 next year too
Dunno how yall's traffic situation was, but I45 from Dallas to Conroe was horrible. It moved well enough, but for a Sunday afternoon, non-holiday weekend, it was packed.
About that meteorite I mentioned above--it was in the first room to the left on the lower level under a plastic tarp. Looked like a dang big ugly rock to me. The copperhead snake in the cage skeered me tho. I really wanted to break the glass and kill it dead. Just because.

I looked over that meterorite myself when I was in that room...Was pretty large and looked weird........The snaked in the cages looked damn real for being fake....I thought the eyes on the Cotton mouth didnt look right which got me to looking closer...
I hate I-45 once you get within 100 miles of Houston.....It is always busy.....

I saw the word meteorite and thought you were speaking about the one I saw Friday night. I guess I was the only one looking North at the time. The flame around it was Green with a yellow/orange tail. Pretty cool.
