May I suggest two meeting places. One in Phillipsburg at Jimmies and another say near the Water Gap / Rt 80 area. This way participants have a chance to join the caravan at any point. I'll join you at Jimmies. I believe that Mark may want to join up farther North.

So today i ran the course. Alot of great scenery awesome fast curvy roads and NO CONSTRUCTION!!!!!! We have three options for the cruise which we will figure which one to take. I saw a silver notchie 86 in Easton. Im drawing up maps for everyone. There are several gas stations along the way and have break time areas. Trust me you will really have fun and your Fiero will get a good workout.

My fiero got all excited about this and peed itself. Replacement heater core and new hoses on the way from TFS should be installed with plenty of time to spare.
I'm thinking we should take a page from the Georgia guys RFTH event and put the folks who want to push their cars hard in the front of the pack so the rest of us don't slow them down.

I agree with you about us drive hard nuts. So i will be at the head of the pack and yes my duke and 84 can kick ass on the road and im not afraid to go that little on the edge driving. So who wants to be at the rear? I have directions drawn out step by step for you and we will be stopping every so often to let the pack catch up. OHHH bring a childs trinket along like a toy or pez dispenser. Its a suprise don't ask. Im making this a trip that you won't feel exhausted and rushed. There are numerous gas station along the way. If anyone has walkie talkies that will help alot. Soo what do you think the numbers are at?

Hey guys. I'm new to to the forum, but have been reading up on a bunch of thread for a while now. I'd love to join you! My car is still in the shop, but it should be out today....I'm hoping it's done. Still needs some minor touch-ups but, nothing too major. I'm hoping you'd welcome a newbie

I will talk to Steph about this tonight. As long as we have nothing scheduled, we both might be able to make this. I know she will be looking for every opportunity to drive her new Fiero.
EDIT: Well, I guess I jumped the gun too soon. I forgot that was the weekend I have a campout with my boy. I even told saboo about this a few days ago, and I still forgot.

I'm in Columbia, NJ and have been to almost every place mentioned for this cruise with my fiero already, and all of these places are very scenic and interesting. This cruise is a great idea. Im a full time student and usually work saturdays but i think ill do my best to get this one off. So count me in as a possibly, i cant guarantee it yet though.

Missing these types of Fiero events has been eating me up for 4-5 years now. I'm getting so close it's driving me nuts! (Thanks to bmwguru ) Really wish I could be there. I have my new Camaroboat, but it's really not the same. I'd run over all the Fieros.
Maybe I should hold a VA/MD/PA run to celebrate MIDTRBO's rebirth as soon as it's shaken down.
Wow, I'd love to join you and show off our recently completed Yellow '88GT, but I just dont trust it to make a trip from Old Tappan to Phillipsburg. Hope the next tour is closer. Have a great time.

and where are all the Garden State Fiero club members hiding these days? Outside of Abe, myself and when Dave can get away from the shop, it seems that most have hibernated for the summer. Kenny used to be very active but now he's moved on to Corvettes. I wouldn't put it past him if he joins us in his Vette though! I should definitely make it but if it rains we should try for the following Saturday.

Really Easy!! Just take Rt. 611 South to Easton pa. Make a left over the free bridge into New Jersey As soon as you cross the bridge make a left. Jims Doggie Stand will be on your right as you turn into te parking lot . DO NOT GO THE TRAFFIC LIGHT!!!!! Its before that. The parking lot is along the river.

That bridge is at Messiah College near Mechanicsburg. After Carlisle, Meg and I took the kids over for a walk around Campus. We met there in 1987, First week of college.
Looking forward to the cruise, too. Hoping to get the cars out tomorrow for a shake down. Megs car needs the brake hoses redone, so will try to get that done next weekend.
