Oh as for those short-shorts of Magnums, he stopped wearing in the second season, and his voice got lower. I have seen girls basketball teams with longer (and looser) shorts than those!

Has anyone used a MAC to post photos with the P.I.P system below?

I know this episode, its when the "Mack" is killed when he starts the car right after dinner show with Magnum & his date. That's right three people in a 308, I wonder who got center position (ouch). I might have this episode, I will check out the this scene to see if you can tell whats burning.

Boy I sure screwed that posting up! All I wanted to say was to "batousai666" that going to Hawaii without money (Lots Of Money) ain't going to work. They charge you to inhale there, if you want to eat...Ka-Ching! I guess we could drive our cars over to "Robins Nest" and hope they would think it was Magnum there on a visit, times 3 or 4, who knows, the dog's should be dead, or at least to old to have teeth.
I think the snow and cold are starting to rot my brain stem, and I swear can hear mice eating my car!

I guess I haven't looked at the PIP in awhile, but I'm pretty sure it was a .zip or .exe file. Which if you're on a Mac, you'll have to have certain software to open or run. I'm sure Cliff designed it for a Windows OS, so OSX is incompatible. I stick with Photobucket, but then I don't ever post any good how-to pictures or anything that I think anyone will ever want to go back and look at, so if the red X shows up, oh well.

Welcome to the forum btw!

I just caught this thread while rummaging around. Welcome to the forum!

I'm just over the border in New Berlin and if there is anything I can help out with just drop me a note.

Plan on heading up to the Wisconsin Dells the weekend after Memorial Day. That is one of the best shows in the country for our Fieros and it's a ton of fun. Check out the Fiero Fanatics website for info...

www.fierofanatics.com

We'll have to do a spring get-together with all the locals when the weather warms up......

Alright "D" maybe we can pass the hub cap to collect enough to sponsor a fact finding mission to the islands. If we don't get enough we can always catch a trap steamer out of San Francisco, make a change to a square rigger out of Singapore, then switch in Fiji to a leaky fishing boat, and a short swim to Hawaii. Of course, that is the "Deluxe Plan," and we can always cut corners if need be. By the way thanks for posting the photos of old #2 for me, plus of course the fine shot of "me" next to the car

As for "New Berlin," you are just over the hill from me! Is it a Mera or Fiero that you have? I am surprised you didn't see my car running around town this past year, I think I racked up about 2,000 miles. We will have to hook up this Spring, (if it ever comes) maybe if we can find a few more owners from around here (or even Illinois) we can all caravan to the Dells Show, back roads of course.

I have a 1987 GT black with black spider web rims just got it at the end of November and i have seen only two Fieros in my time of looking for them. Whats looks to be an 86-87 GT white with custom rims if im not mistaken and a not to sure on the year but a blue notchback SE with stock rims. Have you heard of HWY 100? not just the street but cruising and all of that fun stuff?

I've got a '86 SE that's black over silver. All stock except the colors. I drove it all summer and it's parked now for the winter. I'm over by Sunnyslope and Beloit.

Looking forward to meeting you guys...

On Martin in Muskego, my car is also packed away, for what seems like a very long winter. When things thaw out we will have to set up a meeting place, stay tuned. As for Hwy 100, oh yes I know all about the cruising, used to do it in a 1965 Cutlass 350 4 speed (I called it "Gutlass"). Also raced a Porsche with my 1978 Excalibur (454 auto), blew his doors off! Wish I still had that car, but if I did I wouldn't have the Mera now, I am "allowed" only 3 cars at a time, the Mera makes #89 that I have owned. What can I say, its a sickness.

Would that "something" in your driveway be maybe....snow? If you need more let me know, I will put some on the side for ya.

In fact...IF that fine fellow in Hawaii wants some nice fresh Wisconsin snow in trade for tickets to Hawaii, I just might be persuaded to box up a few pounds, I might even still have some Magical Christmas Snow, WITH Rain-deer droppings, yum!

Its worth a try.

Welcome to the Forum Wayne!
I live up by Duluth, Mn. and have Mera # 8085. Its also in storage until next spring. My wife is the Magnum PI fan, but the Mera is Black on Grey, so it doesn't look much like the Selleckmobile.
Anyway, drop me a PM if you're coming up this way. With or without your ride, it would be nice to meet you.

I was not all that far from you in 09' the magazine I work for sent me on the Lake Superior Circle Tour, man what a trip!
Might even be fun in a car. The same goes for me, if your coming down this way give me a heads up.

Are all those cars in your driveway at one time, or is this an "over the years list"? I can relate as over the years I have owned 91 cars & trucks (I just did an exact counting) and some of yours were on that list, nice cars too.
What I did is line the cross beams in my garage with the plates. The strange thing is: all those cars, but still the same wife!

Peace WWP

OK, I checked out this scene, its from season 3, called "Did you see the sunrise?" I freeze framed and slow mo'd it, it is NOT a Ferrari, nor is it a Mera. On the inside shots the dash defrosters are all wrong, their huge, windshield has the wrong rake, and is to big, car also sits too high, indicating to me that is a front engine car with the engine pulled. My best guess is that is a Camaro of that era, with the top chopped.

right on! maybe the Camaro was a convertable with like a fake top. the pic i used i think it looks like a wood mock up. the whole car. its hard for me to see the wheels. so i assumed they were covered in smoke if it is a real car.but the wood mock up is soo totally Hollywood....in them days expecally.

For sure. I am just glad they didn't toast a Ferrari or a Mera!
This episode is a first for a series at that time, because at the end, Magnum kills the Russian Agent, who had killed Mack in the car explosion.
In case your interested there is a book by Larry Manetti (who played Rick) called "Aloha Magnum" it tells all the back round and inside stuff that took place on the show.
Its really quite good and makes for an interesting read, I believe its only available on-line, its published by Renaissance Books out of LA.

WHAT, $488.88 for the book? No way, $48.00 maybe, and signed. I think that's what I might have paid for a signed copy.
I found my link to the book on the http://magnum-mania.com site, start there.

$488.88 I wouldn't pay that much for "Rick" (aka Larry) to cook me dinner!

Great!
You will have a hard time putting it down, Manetti (Rick) is a wild man, some of the stuff he did while on that show was way over the top, my favorite was the dead body. You will have to let me know how you liked it.

Enjoy
