Man, the pointy nosed Fieros with a chop look like something from Vector Aeromotive, don't they? Well, those cars were junk (lol, didn't those things catch on fire?) but they looked aweseme

Well since you asked, I'd love to have you chop & drop mine. I'll say thanks in advance.
My appologies to anyone I haven't chopped yet. The real world has a way of intruding on the forum and I haven't had time lately. WingNut-MD is next for sure.

its mid-engine, but in the US its under the Acura Brand, which throws some people off if they dont know that Acura = Honda + $$, just like toyota and lexus, and nissan and infiniti
not to mention the $80,000 price tag

You know, i dont complain much, but some thread title's really bother me, everytime i see this thread start back up, i think to myself "if all fiero's were chop tops, that they wouldnt truely be called chop tops, they'd all be the same and none would be unique in that way"
so for anyone who wishes all of them were chopped, think about it
1. looses uniqueness 2. less headroom for overgrown people 3. probably wouldnt have ever had t-top fieros 4. jscott couldnt say he has one of a few chop tops
see so just think about it, even though they do look good with chops, if they all had chop tops, then people wouldnt know the difference.
kinda like saying What if all fiero's were v8's if you think about it.

You raise some interesting thoughts. Yet there are some of us, (Curley, Archie, and myself) that think Pontiac just made the greenhouse a little too tall and the car looks "just right" when it's dropped three inches. Maybe I should have entitled the thread, "What would all Fieros look like chopped?" but I'm an engineer by trade not a writer So,
1) Yes it would loose uniqueness if they were all chopped but I think they would all look good 2) After the seat is dropped you don't loose all that much headroom. 3) The t-top could have been made smaller to accomodate the smaller roof, and there are chopped t-top Fieros 4) Actually I have two

Thank You! A stock chop & drop is not as sweet looking as the awesome modified cars we have here, but it's mine and I think the pictures look great. Thank you for your time and efforts!

I dunno about the raised wing but the rest is sexy. Thanks +
You are welcome!
If you have ever sat in a chop top you will find the raised wing is functional. The effective height of the rear window is 4 inches. The stock wing height will sit right in the middle of that. Raising it 3 inches allows you to look under it and have some rear vision.
I'm all "go" for the posters...I guess the married guys can't really hang posters so there might not be too much demand
