I wish that was my car
If it was I would just put the motor in it and be done, no body just drive it the way it is.

I had to make some new brackets for the oil and power steering pumps because the new oil pump I bought mounts differently. Still not 100% happy with these but the bracket took 9 hours to engineer and fab so I'm posting pictures before I throw it across the room.

The front motor mounts no longer work so I'm going to fab some side mounts.

The problem was trying to fit both items in a confined space, while keeping the full adjustment range on both items, and keeping the pulleys aligned.

Made new front motor mounts, also made new rear ones (picked up another bolt hole on adaptor). Also made a breather for the transmission and mounted the power steering and radiator fill tanks. The brackets that came with the tanks were different so I made up a matching set of three. The empty one is to mount the breather for the dry sump. Also some pics of the tunnel with the start of the shifter.

The black thing on the left is a screen filter that goes between the scavenge pumps and the tank. This is there to help get the air out of the oil.

Seems like a good place for this.

This one will probably keep me awake.
25 inch rear tire/7200 rpm = 230mph + with 10% tire slippage.

Lookin good!

I really want to see it some day. It looks GREAT in the pictures. I really admire your abilities and hope this thing drives as well as it looks. You make me want to make mine street legal, but with some of the choices I have made (race clutch, removeable pan, etc.) it would never be tame enough for the street. I notice you are running some Nitros. Remind me.... what will your motor be putting out N/A? You're makeing me want to add HP.... quit it!

Actually my next move would to go for some wider rear rims.

Glad to see it is coming nicely.

Started mocking up the body. Because of the channel, the front end will have to raised about two inches. The side molding is going away. I will fill in the notch at the rear of hood. The front end will also be shortened six inches. I am thinking about widening the top of the fenders and adding vents to the fender tops. If I widen the fenders I can mount them a little lower as the inside mounting point will not be over the tire anymore.
