this is a pic of Paul Angel's hood scoop he made for me. AKA: ThaDriver
I don't remember what he charged me but it was not bad and it is a nice thick part. well worth the price.
i agree i have the same one and the install was so easy.. instructions were great and the quality and service were incredible its subtle and dosnt stand out too much from the over all look

Not fluent in the posting thing. Check my website for two versions on my Pro-Street. I have a hand built over the roof scoop on my yellow '88. I will get it to the web site soon. Or email you pics. of that one.
I put the hood vents ( ? ) from a 1983 z/28 fiberglass hood in to my fiero hood. I have the 83 z/28 Xfire engine in the back, so i used the hood in the front. I did a vid on you tube of installing it. It fits the fiero hood, it has the right curve, it was fiberglass from the factory, clears the sunroof when its in the trunk. I have a fiderglass hood from a "X-11" that looks like it would be right for the hood on a fiero. I never got around to using pictures on here, but if you want to see it, e-mail me, I will send a picture. I am "fierofred" on youtube. frwihall@aol.com
Was painting a scoop for an NHRA drag car when I got the bright idea. If only there were a motor in the front. lol It fits so well. and color matches too!!

This is like a GT 40 scoop in a way. The GT 40 is a little different but it vents out directly behind the raditator tovent out the high pressure area under the hood.
Where did you get that hood scoop? If I had a scoop that would be it!

OK, here's my question, how do you stop water from getting in when it rains?
Why would you want too??? It's the back of the radiator. Gets wet all of the time. Also, most maintaing the seal of the front wall to keep water out of the tire well.

Some of these vents seem to be high enough that the water would get on other things.... will it just fall through or could it pool somewhere and cause additional rust issues?

As long as you properly seal the tire area it's not a problem, and as for rust or water pooling somewhere it won't the part that the opening of the vent is at is already open to the elements from the front and bottom.

i wanted as little extra lines on the hood as possible to keep the look a bit stock. Made mine like some others here but a bit wider so that it follows the hood lines that are already there. Oh and water does get in but it doesnt do any harm, before it got damp there aswell. The spare tire section remains dry.

Nice look. I love the black rims. More info? Any pics of the underside of the hood?
