One of the most accurate I have seen If I recall, doesn't it even have the correct hinges so the doors "roll out" instead of just swing open, like a Testarossa should?

Did he buy that car off of ebay several years back, possibly from a guy in Vegas? Looks like the one that I recall. If so, I think it has real Testarossa quarter windows and interior console parts.

Yeah, and it has all of the correct Ferrari glass, wheels, this, that and the other.

this is the kind of kit that made me want a fiero when I was a kid wish they were still available, but maybe I can get my hands on an unfinished one some day.
hmm... real ferrari glass you say... wasn't it Ron Rosser who made a kit (or two kits actually, one Testarossa and one F512) that accepted ferrari glass? I seem to recall an article in one of the kit car mags...
Someone asked for some interior photos so I thought I would post those, as well as a few other pics since this is such a nice replica.
Then I need to get back to work on it!
I'm installing a new oil pan, VC gaskets, axle seals, etc. etc. This car has really been "enjoyed" and needs some mechanical TLC now. Still trying to talk jdorr2002 into swapping in a 3800sc, 4.9 or SBC and making this car a LOT more fun
Now I need to get back to work on it!!

Funny, all that work on the body and interior, but the engine compartment looks pretty dirty, and there should be some struts holding up the back hatch

I knew somebody would make a comment like that when I posted that last photo Like I said, this car has really been "enjoyed" and needs a little bit of attention right now. That's why I'm working on it...
The engine decklid is VERY heavy and very strong. It appears to be made of structural steel square tubing with fiberglass over it. I have a couple of ideas to add twin struts to it, but I need to see what the owner wants to do. Right now the focus is on getting it all mechanically squared away and cleaning things up. It will be "pretty" underneath there soon enough

Who makes a replica kit like this? I have seen a 308, 512, and a 360 but no testarossa. Anyone have a link or vendor name for one of those kits? The testarossa was my first loved supercar. Then the countach obviously.
