Great thread idea...Please include details as well as pics, though. My interior is my next major upcoming project. I've grown to really dislike the stock interior.
Here's the crappy photo chopup job I just did to show the idea I have for my build:
The bottom portion will be a map pocket/cup holder combination, and there will be a custom speaker grille to cover up my 5-1/4" woofers in my component system. I haven't decided on what to do with tweeters yet, so I left them out of this. As I plan on making the panels something I could resell if people would be interested, I will be pulling molds, and speaker grille should be able to cover up to 6-12" speakers. The picture I ripped the S-10 pieces from didn't have power windows, locks, or mirrors, but the switches are on the upper end of the arm rest, near the door handle. The curvy door handle does look a bit odd, so I'll probably try to find something else to use for it. The power switches for the S-10 are also pretty weird, so I'll be searching for something else to use there as well. But the door panel is the perfect place to put a cup holder in the Fiero.
I installed a 94 Camaro dash, 95 Bonneville door panels, custon console, Audi TT shift boot/ring
Nice looking Camaro dash. Great to see another one out there. Here is my dash, 94 Camaro, 94 Grand Prix console modified to fit, custom door panels, Bonneville HUD.

Max The Chainsaw >> where did you mount the HUD? I have one and havent really found a simple easy way to mount it in the Firebird dash and keep a factory look.

Sorry Mickey, I just saw this. Takes me awhile to get around here, getting too old.
This is how I put the HUD in the Camaro dash.
I had to remove the circuits from the HUD unit box, so I lost the magnification mirrors. Makes the image smaller on the glass, but that's OK with me. What I did was to fasten the projector board to the bottom of the panel by cementing a couple plastic brackets to the panel. The other board is fastened in with velcro. I made a small window in the top of the dash cut from the window of the original HUD box:
Hope this helps. There's not a lot of room under most dashes for the huge HUD box without major reconstruction. Only trade off is the loss of the magnification. My display for MPH is only about 5/8 inch tall.

Does the 94 camaro dash fit right into the fiero? i have plans of combining a camaro and a fiero and if its "easy" that would add another piece to save from the donor camaro. it also looks alot better nice job.

It's not a direct fit, no. Requires some cutting, etc… and getting the gauges working right is a bit of work as well. Search for the "Designing a dash, need a few ideas" thread for lots of info on the 4th gen F-body dashes.

I was thinking has anyone modeled an interior kinda off the Lotus Elise (my favorite can-still-buy-new car)?? Just plain jane basic with exposed metal and such, albeit that's pretty much what the stock interior is (just without the exposed metal). The other interiors here look amazing, don't get me wrong, however I feel they make the car look like any other new production car: just looking like everything else, not different... through my eyes anyways.
Just a though anyways, perhaps I will look into this for future fun!

Thanks - forgot about this as well.
Anyways, here are recent shots of my interior:
4th Gen Firebird dash, console & seats - door panels modelled on the 4th Gen Firebird (hybrid panel using both the stock Fiero pnael and Firebird components).

I'll tell you, I may end up making a beefy cover for the steering column on these cars. Kitcars and dash swaps come out awesome until you look at that retarded steering column that always sticks out 10 feet from the dash with the tilt bend right in the middle. Those columns really need a larger housing around them. That has been a pet-peeve of mine for years.

Now I like that...looks up to date and blends well. Need to do something with the steering columb though. Maybe paint or something to make it fit in with the rest of the interior. Then it would be the perfect interior upgrade for a Fiero.

here is the start of my new dash swap into the new choptop show car for this next year. it was just fitted and still has a lot of tweaks to go. the dash is out of an 98 Grand prix that I bought for the 3800 SC and just decided to use the dash as well. I plan to do a few mods on the dash that will make it flow better with the car. I also installed the column from the grand prix as well. a few tweaks to the mounts and it bolted right in. the door panels will be hand built custom because of other mods the car is getting. more to come. I agree and have thought about doing something about it for my car, but too lazy right now. I have even considered using the f-body column (or other), but haven't really looked at it too closely to see if it can be made to work.

I can't speak for that dash, but it probably is, the problem lies in building the HVAC ducting, wiring and merging the HVAC controls to the Fiero system.

No, not that easy it does take a lot of work to install. the first fitting I did I cut a lot of the dash away to get it to the point it is and it is just sitting in the car at the moment. I still need to mount it, wire it and plumb it.
if you guys noticed in the pictures the column is also out of the grand prix and yes it is installed all the way. it still has tilt as well. I had to modify the top mount and cut the lower mount off a fiero column and weld it on as well but the knuckle was the same as the Fieroand the over all size was exact as well. all in all that part was a great fit and not that hard to do at all.
