My '86 GT does the same thing.

So what's the word TopNotch, will your magic box correct this problem as well?

It might fix it, but I don't know. My 88 does an extra wipe only when I turn the wipers off. I'm not going to bother putting an eliminator on it for that. I might not bother with only one wipe when I turn the key on either, but I'd watch it to see if it got worse.

Trust me, one wipe every damn time the car is started is bad enough.

This is a very common problem with Fieros. I'm surprised you haven't received any feedback on this particular issue.

Maybe someone who's bought your device can chime in if they have or had the one wipe curse.

LOL.... I thought I was the only one!!!! Mines not bad only happens once in blue moon! I always thought I just had a sensitive switch on the lever and thought I was just hitting it or hit a bump! Jeez.... If it gets worse now I know where to go!

Thanks!!!

After a bout of bronchitis, I'm up and running again, and I have 5 more of these made and ready to go. PM me if you want one.

Fast shipping, super easy install, and I've been running it for two days and have not had a single problem. You are a god amongst men. Thanks for this!

I don't think it would do any good for that case.

I've decided not to make these any more, but I've revealed what's in the box in this thread, so now you can make your own. Maybe you can tweak the components to make it work better.

No, I just don't want to spend the time on making them.

Ok, you had me worried there. Around the time I found the source of the problem originally you just came out with your fix. Never wanted to step on anybodies toes.
