This is kinda weird. I'm sure there is a mix up somewhere. I can't think if a reason for anyone to not get a chance to be involved. This is supposed to be a positive experience for everyone. I hate to see anyone left out. I don't think it is a reason to really get upset though. Kinda spoils the idea....

Just my opinion.

I'm less upset that I havent gotten anything yet than I am by the total lack of response from the person I sent a gift to. I had it shipped the day after names were given out. I had to ask through someone else just to make sure it got there ok. Maybe they didn't like it. I'm not the best gift giver, but I tried.

Not getting a response is uncalled for. At least treat a gift like it's a sweater from a relative! Say Thank You and put it in the closet. I know not everyone checks the board everyday, but c'mon, It takes a few minutes to acknowledge you received something.
I was blown away by my SS. I couldn't have picked out a better gift.

I got mine last night I love it a big grab bag of goodies
lazy mans car wax, 2 little sham wows, a pocket knife, key chain and a cool little flashlight.

I am thinking my SS was PontiacKid !

I dropped out after my secret santa never delivered a couple of years ago. There are many on PFF who are deadbeats. It is a great idea and I hope that whoever manages the SS program keeps track of the deadbeats are rejects them for participating.

The only other thing I can say is...
Get together the names that did not get anything, draw names of each other and send! At least if the above is happening, you guys can still pull it off with a gift from each other.

Since 123mmmyFIERO was banned after signing up, I am curious if he is planning to send the gift to his assigned person.

I shipped my gift on the Dec 11th, but haven't seen any post that it was received yet...

Whats gonna suck is when I get something in the mail and down know who im suppose to be shipping my stuff too.

Yup... You'll like that wax... I use it on my cars.. it also works with light scratch removal as well enjoy.

I know my gift was received. But,he has not posted that he received it yet. Problerly busy with the holidays

I was in a SS last year with my plant swap group and I sent a gift and did not receive a gift from the person that was to
send me one. But,my friends on the plant swap sent me some very nice items to make up for the
inconsiderate person

At least I know my guy should be "Happy"

This was something I could be almost positive you didn't have.

First I thought it was going to get there late, then their shipping info told me it was delivered around 2pm on the 24th. hmmmm strange. Oh well as long as it got to you.

Now you can easily put together/take apart your car piece by piece.

Its good to see that santa's sleigh made it to my SS's place. I was getting nervous that his sled needed a new ignition module or ????

One person said he got a ticket and wasn't sure if he was able to participate. He wanted me to extend the time. At the same time overseas people want their recipients names so it will get to them before Christmas.
One person didn't get a name. I have no idea how it happened and the people I thought I gave 2 to only had one.
I just got 2 pms with people saying they're sending gifts today. There's 3 others that have issues with delays in making their gifts.
One person isn't able to send his package overseas. The post office says it's not a valid address. I had the same person a few years ago with no problems.
The person who was banned was not included.

Other than that it's been smooth...

I'll fess up...I had Brimmy and I looked and looked for him to post an idea but saw nothing. I need to get something out to him so I am at fault. Having said that I still haven't received anything either. Brimmy, my bad. I even tried to figure out where you were in your project! im sorry i haven't posted sooner.. but i got mine a week before Christmas.. my SS sent me some badass car wax, a 120mph speedo (w00t!) and some candy that me and the wife enjoyed... thank you SS who ever you are (i should be installing the speedo soon)
