Starts out with pictures from Stevens Point. Some interesting weather and the burnt up Super 8. Then there's about 600 some pics of my trip and the show.
I wanted the lamp too! Oh well, I got a good enough look at it that I'm pretty sure I can make one of my own... I just have to wrangle up the parts first.

Safely hiding in my hotel room. I didn't want to be around Camp Shipman when an un-named group of conspirators attempt to relocate.....oh I'm sorry I was sworn to secrecy. Had a great day with the car show, Camp Shipman activities and overdosing on Fieros. Good night! Well worth the effort to get here.
Life sometimes makes it so that we cannot do the things that we want, but at least it also presents itself in a way that enlightens our hearts. Thank you all for sharing your pics, stories, and love. Tyler is watching, laughing, and enjoying what you all have accomplished here. (Frickin'n tears.)
Your friend,
Tony Kania

With the forecast we had yesterday and the way things cleared up, there was no doubt in my mind that he is watching down. Turned out to be a perfect weekend!
I'll be in Frazee for the parade, not sure where I'll be before then. I really wish I would have had my phone this weekend lol!

That is Stu's rig. It bounces around some (I followed him up from KC) and his CB antenna wiggles along happily like a dog's wagging tail but otherwise he has said that he doesn't notice its back there.

Wait....so Shawn's car is more than just a show queen?
"Show Queen" jerky ??????? Yeah, i built that car to prove to the nay sayers, and yes had some troubles along the way ( completely justifiable )
Tho both me & Jay know, that day if i had the drag radials he had, there would have been a LOT more distance between Next mod, 80lb injectors, 103mm MAF, retune, & 285-45-17 Drag radials !!!!
Might i also add, that car of Jay's is NOT slow !!!!! Better strap a cushion to the back window !!!!!!!

Okay I have a few comments about this:
Comment 1: Shawn, your car is one of my favorites on this forum, for having as much show as it does go. I got a wood just hearing your car race Jay's on that YT video.
Comment 2: Where in the hell is Jay's build thread on that car????????? I vaguely remember hearing a little about it, but no specs.

To my knowlodge, i heard about that car when Jay bought it..... they were texting me cause it was in StPaul. AFAIK, the previous owner took a 350 V-8 and did a mild build, heads, intake, cam, & carb, has an Archie kit in it and some fat Mickey T drag radials. He bought it just like you see it, running but in rough shape. Jay has already since blown up one 4 speed in it, and sure to blow up more wanting to put the juice on it. Rumored to be doing around 350hp .....
