I`ve been playing around with the idea of a stretched Fiero.
If someone could stretch a Fiero chassis 11 inches or so, like the stretch required in a Diablo replica, why not just proportionately stretch the stock body also, that would allow you to install a longitudinally mounted LT1 with an Audi 5 speed.
I have an Audi 5-speed and according to measurements you would have to loose the bottom part of the trunk, but it wouldn`t stick out past the rear of the car.
Plus, with the axles moved back 11 inches, the nose of the 350 would be fairly close to the bulkhead but it looks like it would clear.
Anyway, I have been playing around with photoshop a little, and here is what I came up with.
Maybe add a whaletail spoiler and some side scoops similar to what Ausfiero used to make.
