There really are no specifics, the simple fact is everyone seems to do swaps that require differnt length axles. I just get 02 automatic caviler axles, and everything just slides together. There are other formulas out there, but it all depends on many things.

my plan was to get a known working combination, slide them in the trans, then mount to the cradle accordingly, or make mounts with slotted holes for centering purposes.
